She was running with a soul-deep urgency, desperate to escape from an unidentifiable presence that had been trailing her ever since she left home. She sprinted through one street after another, but each path led her into darker, more ominous alleys — lifeless, eerie, and shrouded in silence. No human, no animal. Just shadows.
Her vision blurred, either from fear or exhaustion, she couldn’t tell. As she stumbled forward, her foot caught on something — the tilted body of a man. She fell, barely catching herself
Startled, she leaned in to check if he was still breathing. But as she stared into his face, she froze. The man’s terrifying red eyes suddenly snapped open and began to stare directly at her.A wave of panic washed over her. She screamed and dropped her contact lenses in fright, her eyes filling with helpless tears.
She ran. She didn’t look back. She kept running for what felt like hours. Her throat burned. She was so thirsty, she would have agreed to drink even dirty water.
Finally, seeing no one behind her, she slowed down and decided to rest. She searched the area for water — and spotted a half-filled bottle lying in the shadows. The water inside shimmered strangely, with a murky, almost metallic appearance. But driven by desperation, she ignored the look of it and began to open the bottle...
As she opened the bottle, a foul, unfamiliar odour hit her nose. The liquid inside wasn’t water — its strange color and thick consistency made her stomach turn. Disgusted, she decided not to drink it. She would rather stay thirsty.
Curious but cautious, she examined the bottle more closely. But before she could react, a few drops of the mysterious substance spilled onto her hands. Instantly, it clung to her skin like glue, seeping into her pores and crawling along her fingers. Within moments, she felt an odd sensation — her bones were shifting, hardening, transforming into something unnaturally strong.
She panicked, rubbing and scratching, trying desperately to wipe it off, but the substance wouldn’t budge. It had become one with her flesh. She wanted to scream, but something told her to keep moving.
She remembered the man — or whatever it was — she had seen earlier, lying in the alley with those crimson eyes. She had seen him near that broken-down shop near her home. Now, she realized he might have followed her all along.A chill crawled down her spine.Suddenly, she spotted him again — the non-identifiable creature — emerging slowly from the shadows. Without thinking, she ran.
This time, she didn’t stop until she reached a towering, dark castle that looked long abandoned. She ducked behind its walls, gasping for breath, hoping the creature hadn’t seen her.
That’s when she heard it.
A sound — soft, almost haunting — music drifting from within the castle walls. Enchanted by the melody, she stepped inside, drawn toward it. The deeper she went, the clearer the music became.
As she walked through the castle’s grand, dust-covered halls, she noticed strange symbols carved into every piece of furniture — symbols she couldn’t recognize, but which somehow felt familiar, almost like they were calling to her.
She walked alongside the grand halls of the castle, the air heavy with an eerie stillness. A ghostly lion statue stood silently near the entrance of the music chamber, its eyes seeming to follow her every move.
The haunting melody floated from deep within the castle, pulling her in like a spell.
As she entered the great hall, she was struck by the sight before her — a tall mirror stood at the far end, and in its reflection, she saw herself.
She was wearing a flowing white dress, glowing faintly in the dim light. She looked so breathtaking, so ethereal, that even a blind man might fall in love at the chance to see her.
A small smile touched her lips. For a moment, she forgot everything — the fear, the chase, the darkness — and simply admired her own reflection. She had never seen herself look so beautiful… almost otherworldly.
Then, the music shifted slightly — deeper now, more mysterious — reminding her why she was here.As she turned away from the mirror, her eyes caught something on the floor.Footprints. Large, muddy, and recent.
They didn’t belong to her.
Heart pounding, she followed the footprints cautiously. They led her through the hall, twisting into a narrow corridor that seemed to stretch deeper into the shadows.
The corridor ended at a heavy wooden door, half open. She stepped inside. It was a secret room
And in it, she saw...
