Summary

When Shanaya looked to her side, she saw two hands in front of her eyes. She looked up and saw Mihir and Kunal both standing in front of her, staring intensely. Shanaya hesitated for a moment, then reluctantly reached out to grab Kunal's hand. But before she could, she felt a large, warm palm wrap around hers. She looked up and saw Mihir already staring at her. His eyes dark and intense, jaw clenched. There was something else flickering in his gaze too, something unreadable quickly masked by him, but not before she noticed it. Startled, Shanaya gasped when Mihir suddenly pulled her closer with a swift, firm motion. Then, without breaking eye contact, he turned to Akash and said, "Watch. You have to grab her hand from the top like this, and then go around her like this while twirling her." Though Mihir was speaking to Akash, his eyes never left her. Shanaya couldn't handle the intensity in his gaze. She lowered her eyes, trying to steady herself. Something was burning inside her, her heart was doing somersaults. "Eyes on me." Mihir said, his voice husky and low. The moment Shanaya looked up at him with wide, startled eyes, she felt a current run down her spine. A wave of heat crept up her cheeks. Snapping out of her daze, she glanced around the room nervously, then quickly dropped her gaze again. "I said eyes on me, Shanaya," Mihir repeated, a little louder this time.
