Yuki, su primer conflicto

En un bosque cubierto de flores blancas, nació un pequeño ciervo.

Era blanco como la nieve y tenía unos ojos brillantes como joyas.

A simple vista era hermoso, pero su belleza lo volvía invisible entre los suyos.

El bosque lo camuflaba tanto, que nadie notaba su presencia.

Solo sus padres lo admiraban, pues veían en él algo más que apariencia:

el esfuerzo diario, la curiosidad infinita y su amor por cuidar el bosque.

Un día, cansado y triste, Yuki gritó a su reflejo en el agua:

—¿Por qué nací diferente? ¿Por qué nadie me escucha ni me ve?

Para su sorpresa, el agua le respondió:

> —Hola, pequeño. Qué hermoso eres. Soy el espíritu del agua.

He observado tu camino, aunque en silencio.

Mi misión no me permite intervenir, pero puedo decirte algo:

no te desvíes de tu propósito.

Quien rompe con su esencia, se pierde a sí mismo.

El agua volvió a su calma habitual.

Yuki se quedó mirando su reflejo, atrapado en un dilema.

Por primera vez comprendió que su mayor enemigo no era el bosque…

sino su propia mirada.
