"THE LAST TIME WE TALKED, YOU TOLD ME THAT YOU WOULD VISIT ME."

I held my temple as I moved my swivel chair to face the wall. "Yeah, I said that, but I didn't say that I would visit you the next day. Granny, you know I'm busy."

"Busy my-ass! Just tell that you didn't miss me enough to visit—"

Before she could utter more words, I cutted her off already. "I need to attend a meaning. I promise, I'll visit you today."

"Is that true? Jerdon, are you telling me the truth, only the truth with no lies?" She hysterically asked. "Hand the phone to your boss. I will tell that scumbag how bad he is as a leader! Why wouldn't he let you visit me?"

"Granny..."

"Jerdon! Hand the phone to that moron!"

"But Granny, I'm the boss."

I heard her laughed on the other line. "That's what I'm telling. I'm hanging up now, loser."

She ended the call with her evil laugh. My goodness. I need to consult another doctor for her again.

I started working on the files scattered on my table. I attended two meetings before I could finally have my late lunch.

"I will call Miss Alexandra's manager for the photoshoot."

My secretary left after gathering all the documents I've finished reading. After that, I continued working and had some visits on different departments for checking.

When it's time to leave, I decided to have a quick visit to our family house. Been so long since the last time I stepped inside it's gate.

I let my driver go home and drive my car instead. It's not too far from my building, just a 25 minutes ride and I'm already parking my car nearby our ancestral fountain.

The maids greeted me and some offered a coffee but I refused. I asked them how's my parents doing and also my grandmother. It's not so long when Dad walked out from the second floor with it's annoying grin.

"My handsome son, you should have told us that you would visit."

We hugged each other. "I didn't know that I have still time either."

"Who's that talking?!" Granny appeared out of nowhere. She is with two maids, assisting her.

"Granny!" I walked towards her to give my Granny a hug but she screamed. "Who are you? Who are you?" She's pertaining to me.

"Mom, that's Jerdon." My father deruptly asnwered.

"Jerdon? Who's that son of bitch?!"

"He's my son, Mom. Your grandson." Again, my father was like tired from my Granny's agony. "And now I'm a bitch."

"Granny, I told you, I will visit you today." I smiled and held into her hand.

"Jaron?"

I smiled. I smiled even when she said my father's name.

"When did you become this handsome, Jaron? I do not remember you—"

"I can't do this. I'm going now." My father left with his car key.

"Jervan, I miss you." I looked at my Granny at disbelief.

Great. And now she's thinking that I am her late husband

LIFE IS REALLY LIKE A WHEEL. And if you are thinking that it is because sometimes, we are on the top and sometimes, in the bottom.

IT'S NOT.

Life is a wheel and I am the road. It's because life keeps on rolling at me!

"No one called you?"

"Not even one out of the twelve companies I turned my resume into." I let out a very very long sigh. Dang it.

"Well, try again next time. Maybe it's not yours."

I looked at Nicole. And what is for me if that's the case!

My back fell into the bed as I started scrolling at my feed.

"What are you doing?" I asked her

"I'm looking for a boy in the Instagram."

I made a disgusting face and turned away from her direction as I instantly opened my Instagram.

I wasn't still satisfied with my sightseeing when she screamed.

"Oh my Goodness, Nicole? What are you thinking?!"

"I'm hired! Rox, I'm hired!"

I smiled at her and told her how proud I am. Not gonna lie, I felt a little bit of disappointment for myself. But it was all ended when Nicole told me that she will treat me dinner.

The next day, I decided to have a break. I slept all day and didn't ate. I woke up at 6 PM from my sleep and Nicole haven't yet home. I felt my bacterias fighting each other in my stomach so I quickly took a bath and went out to grab something to eat.

I walked to the nearest convenience store and brought instant noodles. After the cashier gave me the change, I hurriedly ask if they are hiring.

"Sorry Ma'am, we are full for now."

"It's okay."

"Thank you for coming, Ma'am."

I left the store and walk again.

No way that I'm gonna be like this forever. Starting from now, I'm going to make a beautiful like for myself no matter how hard it takes.

My mind was kinda floated that I didn't saw a car moving so fast towards my direction. In shock, I couldn't move my body.

"Girl, run!" The old lady screamed at me but my feet couldn't move!

The light continued to ate all my sane and just like that, I screamed.
