Summary

Después de una noche que apenas puede recordar, Mario comienza a sentirse extraño: la luz le incomoda, el cansancio no desaparece y cada amanecer parece dejarlo más pálido y distante. Su esposa, Ana, intenta comprender qué le ocurre mientras la casa se llena de pequeños detalles inquietantes que nadie sabe explicar. Lo que empieza como un malestar inexplicable pronto se convierte en una cadena de sucesos que desafían la lógica y ponen a prueba todo lo que creen conocer sobre la vida… y sobre la muerte. Un relato breve, oscuro y atmosférico donde lo sobrenatural se insinúa en cada sombra, pero nunca se muestra del todo.

Capítulo 1 — El amanecer extraño

Mario se levantó a las seis de la mañana bastante cansado, pese a haber dormido toda la noche. Desde hacía algunos días se sentía apático, justo desde que había estado con aquel señor tan raro pero divertido con el que había ido a un pub. Allí bebieron, bailaron y ligaron hasta que amaneció… aunque él vio el amanecer solo al despertar, porque desde las cinco hasta las nueve estuvo dormido y no se enteró de nada.

Al mirarse en el espejo notó la cara más pálida de lo habitual y un ligero dolor en el cuello. Pensó que sería mala postura. Desayunó con su mujer y se fue a trabajar. Esa noche, durante la cena, comentó que la luz del sol le había molestado y que tenía menos hambre. Su mujer le dijo que no se preocupara, que sería algún virus. Mario se acostó y se durmió enseguida.
