Prologo- La noche que los dioses dijieron que no

Nadie recuerda el día en que los dioses rechazaron a una humana. Porque los dioses se aseguraron de que fuera olvidado...

Esa noche el Olimpo estaba en silencio. No era el silencio solemne de los templos, tampoco era el silencio respetuoso de las oraciones; era un silencio intenso, afilado, como si el aire esperara un error.

Las Moiras rompieron el silencio.

—No pertenece —dijo una.

—No es hija de nadie —habló la otra.

—No está escrita —hablaron las tres al mismo tiempo.

El nombre de la niña ardía en el mármol, grabado por un segundo... y luego se borró.

El dios Zeus apretó el rayo en su mano.

Atenea frunció el ceño.

Ares sonrió, incomodo

Hades... no dijo nada.

—Si no pertenece —dictó Zeus-

Entonces no debe existir.

Una decisión fue tomada.

No con odio.

Con miedo.

La niña no murio.. Eso habría sido fácil.

En cambio, fue devuelta al mundo humano.

Sin protección.

Sin bendición.

Sin destino.

Totalmente invisible para las profecías. Intocable para los hilos del destino.

Un completo error.

Muy abajo, en una habitación simple... una bebé lloró por primera vez.
