Chapter 1
Sometimes the shadow grows louder.
Not because it is stronger—
but because I stopped listening to myself.
I thought I was walking forward,
but fear was guiding my steps.
So I paused.
I remembered that growth is not loud.
Healing is not rushed.
And strength is built in silence.
Life keeps writing,
even when I feel stuck on one line.
So I choose again.
I choose discipline over doubt.
Faith over fear.
My shadow will always exist,
but it does not decide my direction.
I move first.
It follows.
Because I am not controlled by what trails behind me.
I am led by what is ahead of me.
And GOD still loves me—
even while I am learning. ❤️
