THE HEART KNOWS

All Rights Reserved ©

Summary

A heart that stayed quiet for years finally begins to speak. This is a story of unspoken feelings, broken friendships, family scars, and love that never found its home. It is about an introvert who writes instead of speaking someone who feels deeply but smiles anyway. “The Heart Knows” is not about perfect people. It is about real pain, real silence, and the courage to keep going when nobody understands you.

Chapter 1 : THE BEGINNING OF EVERYTHING

Chapter 1: The Beginning of Everything

I always thought life was simple.

Wake up, smile, talk, repeat.

But the truth was, my heart always felt more.

It noticed things I never spoke aloud.

It felt the silences, the half-smiles, the small betrayals no one admitted.

2015 was the year I started noticing this.

I didn’t tell anyone.

Not my friends, not my family.

Because I couldn’t.

I didn’t have the words

And even if I did, I knew no one would truly understand.

I was an observer.

I watched people.

I studied their smiles, their eyes, the way they spoke.

I learned quickly:

not everyone who says they care… actually does.

There was one friend I trusted completely.

Someone I thought would always be there.

We laughed at silly jokes, shared secrets, stayed up late talking about dreams.

I believed in them.

I believed in us.

But life has a way of showing the truth.

Slowly, quietly, the mask slipped.

A lie here, a betrayal there…

Until the person I trusted most

became someone I couldn’t recognize.

And that’s when I learned a painful lesson:

the heart knows.

It knows before the eyes, before the mind.

It senses the cracks in loyalty,

the hidden intentions behind smiles,

the truths we refuse to say out loud.

That year, I began writing.

Not for anyone.

Not for validation.

Just to survive.

To make sense of the people I loved,

the ones who left me,

and the ones I would come to trust in the future.

I didn’t realize then…

that writing would become my sanctuary.

My silent teacher.

The one place where my heart could speak

and the echoes would always listen.

And maybe that’s why…

even after all the betrayals, all the pain,

I still believe in feeling.

Because the heart… it knows.
