Poetry as a bridge between two language that doesn't exist.
He cast aside a diamond, rare and bright,
To chase the glow of common gold in sight.
He let me go, a choice he’ll likely rue,
While offering her the comfort that I knew.
I lost myself within the love I gave,
A ghost of who I was, a silent slave.
Now "we" is gone, a story from the vast,
And I remain here, chained within our past.
