Lisa: I was headed for my first semester of college and feeling nervous. My stepdad, Mike, wanted me to stay with him while I attended the college where he was a professor. It would save me some money on my tuition costs and gas, as he would give me a ride. It gave us a chance to get even closer. What made me feel nervous was what I found out about Mike, and how I wanted him to teach me everything he could about it. Mike: I wasn't aware Lisa had signed up for one of my classes until I saw the roster. I wasn't going to give her special treatment, but it was all I could think about, especially after she asked me to give her some extra credit in something I ached to teach her on. I only feared she wouldn't be able to handle the curriculum, as it could get fairly intense.
