Prologue: The light within.
Cato stood proudly before the palace doors of the Light Kingdom, her mission finally complete. After a long journey through dangerous lands and battles against enemies, she had successfully retrieved the secret box from the Wither Kingdom.
As she entered the palace, a warm golden glow surrounded her. The halls seemed to shine with life itself, their walls decorated with beautiful patterns that reflected the kingdom’s light.
Approaching the throne, Cato lowered into a respectful curtsy and carefully presented the box.
“Hello, Your Highness,” she said. “I brought the secret box from the Wither Kingdom.”
The queen smiled warmly and accepted it.
“Thank you, little warrioress,” she replied kindly. “You have done well. Rest here in the palace while we examine the box.”
Cato nodded.
“Thank you, Your Highness.”
With that, she quietly left the throne room.
Although she was tired from her mission, curiosity soon pulled her deeper into the palace. Before long, she discovered one of her favorite places.
The library.
Towering shelves stretched high toward the ceiling, filled with countless books. Golden lights floated gently overhead, illuminating stories and knowledge from every corner of the world.
Cato smiled.
She loved books.
As she wandered through the aisles, one particular book caught her attention.
The Light Kingdom.
Interested, she sat down and carefully opened it.
The book explained that the Light Kingdom was a place where happiness and light pushed away shadows and darkness. It spoke of a rare gift known as light powers, abilities that often awakened within kind-hearted people who had endured sorrow and hardship.
Many people possessed such powers without even realizing it.
Sometimes they discovered them completely by accident.
Cato paused.
Something about those words felt strangely familiar.
She couldn’t explain why.
As she turned the page, a folded paper suddenly slipped from the book and drifted to the floor.
“Huh?”
She bent down and picked it up.
The paper showed a glowing yellow silhouette of a woman surrounded by brilliant light. Golden energy flowed around the figure like sunlight itself.
Cato studied it carefully.
It didn’t seem like an ordinary illustration.
For some reason, it felt important.
Not wanting to lose it, she folded the paper and slipped it into her pocket.
Eventually, it was time to leave the palace.
The queen and her advisors were still examining the mysterious box, and Cato had many other places to visit on her journey.
As she walked along a path outside the kingdom, a sudden breeze swept through the air.
Before she could react, the folded paper slipped from her pocket.
“Hey!”
Cato immediately chased after it.
The paper danced through the air as though it were alive.
Every time she thought she would catch it, another gust carried it farther away.
Finally, it drifted toward a grassy field and slowly descended.
Cato hurried forward.
Just as she reached down to grab it, something impossible happened.
The paper shimmered.
Its golden lines began glowing.
Then, before her eyes, it dissolved completely into the grass.
“What?!”
Cato stared in shock.
The ground beneath the vanished paper suddenly sparkled.
A small green stem emerged.
Then another.
And another.
Within seconds, a beautiful white tulip began growing from the earth.
But it was unlike any flower Cato had ever seen.
Its petals were bright white and decorated with glowing golden stripes. Soft yellow energy flowed across its surface like tiny streams of sunlight.
The flower continued growing.
And growing.
And growing.
Until it stood nearly as tall as Cato herself.
The entire field became illuminated by its gentle glow.
“Woah…”
Cato could barely believe what she was seeing.
The tulip seemed almost magical.
It felt alive.
And somehow…
It felt as though it had been waiting for her.
Unable to resist her curiosity, Cato slowly reached out.
Her fingertips brushed against one of the glowing petals.
Immediately, a powerful surge of energy shot through her body.
“Aah!”
Light exploded around her.
Golden electricity raced through her veins.
It felt like lightning and warmth at the same time.
The energy flowed through her heart before spreading throughout every part of her body.
The tulip shone brighter.
The field around her glowed.
The air itself seemed to hum with power.
Cato gasped as her clothes began transforming.
Light swirled around her, weaving together an elegant white dress trimmed with golden edges. A large bow formed behind her back, flowing gently as though moved by an invisible breeze.
The energy continued circling her heart.
Not painfully.
Not violently.
But gently.
Like it had finally returned home.
Slowly, the light began fading.
The tulip’s glow softened.
The field returned to normal.
Only Cato remained standing there, breathing heavily.
Her hands trembled.
Not from fear.
From wonder.
She could feel it.
Something had changed.
Something extraordinary.
The light powers described in the book…
They had awakened inside her.
For several moments, she simply stood there beneath the sky, trying to process what had happened.
Then a smile slowly appeared on her face.
Her adventure had just become far more interesting.
Over the following months, Cato dedicated herself to understanding the mysterious power she had awakened.
She trained tirelessly, balancing her swordsmanship with the new abilities growing inside her.
Each battle taught her something new.
Each challenge made her stronger.
Eventually, Lin began helping her understand the gift she possessed.
According to him, light powers were among the rarest abilities in the world.
They did not simply grant strength.
They transformed the people who wielded them.
Lin explained that every light-powered person possessed a unique transformation. Powerful emotions and large amounts of light energy could cause special outfits to appear, reflecting the nature of the user’s soul.
As Cato continued training, she gradually discovered her own abilities.
One of her first techniques became known as Light Beammeow, a powerful beam of concentrated light that fired directly from her heart.
She also developed Megawatt Pulses and Gigawatt Pulses, devastating bursts of electrical light energy capable of striking enemies from a distance.
Soon afterward, she learned to summon glowing orbs of light and launch them at opponents.
Perhaps her most unusual ability was the Light Kitten Army, which allowed her to create adorable but surprisingly powerful light kittens that could assist her in battle.
Yet among all her abilities, one stood above the rest.
Ultimate Rays of Sunshine.
By gathering enormous amounts of light directly from the sun, Cato could unleash a massive beam powerful enough to defeat entire groups of enemies at once.
However, such power came at a cost.
Lin warned her that excessive use of light powers drained physical energy.
If she pushed herself too far, she could become weak, dizzy, or even lose consciousness.
Ultimate Rays of Sunshine was especially dangerous to overuse.
Strength alone was not enough.
Wisdom and self-control were equally important.
As her training continued, Lin eventually presented her with a special book containing knowledge gathered from generations of light-powered warriors.
Cato accepted it gratefully.
Looking down at its cover, she smiled.
She had started this journey as a simple warrior.
Now she carried a power few people in the world possessed.
Yet despite everything she had learned, one question continued to linger in her mind.
Why had that mysterious paper chosen her?
The tulip had not appeared by accident.
Someone, somewhere, had placed that message inside the library book.
Someone had intended for a future light wielder to find it.
And Cato intended to discover who.
Little did she know that the answer would lead her toward a destiny far greater than she had ever imagined…
As she stood on Ice’s ship.. since he offered to sail her back to planttopia.. she watched the ocean.. although she got thoughts of her mother Cassandra.. as she held her gold heart necklace that Cassandra gave her.. She tried.. as ALWAYS.. To move these thoughts away, they always haunted her but it did’nt seem to infront of others.. she was scared to have hope that she is still alive.. it is Impossible… Is it?
