Chapter 1
I was so tired because I just finished searching for a job, and since I found none I plan on going back home and sleeping.
I poured some water into some cups to drink. After that I took the pizza I brought from McDonald's.
After eating I lay down on my hard mattress thinking about the next step to take.
I was as broke as a penniless beggar and honestly if I don't find a job soon I'm going to lose my apartment.
Since I don't have anything to do I plan on crashing at a bar because I'm so tired about this life . One shot of alcohol will be enough to make me forget all these things.
I dressed in a red short dress that showed my curves. I tied my hair in a high ponytail so that my hair won't ruin the moment.
I finished my look with the only bag I've got with a high pencil heel ,after that I walked to the nearest
bar.
I pushed open the door, I scanned for the bartender and honestly he's hot .
" Good evening, handsome", I approached the guy and put on a flirty mood.
"Hey, miss...", he replied in a deep monotone voice.
"oh ,just call me Iris"
"Okay ,Iris, what should I serve you?"He too flirted with me.
"Are there any free shots for a young lady?", I joked.
"no, but I might just make an exception because you are so beautiful and sexy," he replied, making me blush like crazy.
"I am flattered, honestly",I tell him.
He took one glass of wine from the counter and poured it in a glass cup for me and handed it to me.
"One of our special wines for our lovely, Miss Iris", he told me, making me smile.
"Aren't you just cutest?", I tried flattering him and he smirked.
"I guess I am", he replied, licking his lips.
Suddenly strong cologne filled my senses. I turned around and looked at the most handsome sexy guy I've ever met. He just ordered a drink and walked to the VIP session like it was the most normal thing ever.
"Who is that guy?", I asked the bartender. it's just dull on me that I haven't even gotten his name.
" He's the owner of this bar. I know he's very handsome,huh? I mean look at that sexy ass,right there", he
went on rambling.
Wait, did he just say he has a sexy ass? Don't tell me that he's gay?!
"uhm... I've got to run", like what the hell?!
Later on,I found myself on the dance floor,twisting and turning to the rhythm of the music. All I can afford to do now is dance my pain away.
I felt a man slip his hand on my waist grabbing. I started panicking like what the f***?!
I started struggling in his arms because he clutched on me tighter, making me scared as hell. I was so afraid for my life that I had to scream at him but he closed my mouth with his firm hands and warned me.
"Don't you dare make a sound ,slut!", his voice boomed over the loud music.
He forcefully dragged me across the dance floor into one suit. Before he could remove his belt and unclasp it ,a punch landed straight on his face.
I turned to look at my Savior ,it was the same hot guy, the owner of the bar.
"No one rapes a person in my bar without going cost free", his voice was very deep, very baritone, and I gulped at the intensity to which his spoke.
"guards!!", he roared. "take this a****** out of my sight"
I watch the guy being dragged across the bar to the street where he was thrown like a piece of garbage.
"Thank you so much sir, I hope I... didn't cause any nuisance to your bar", I tried sounding nice.
"oh you did cause a nuisance, dressed like that?! honestly aren't you here to seduce men?!"
I giggled nervously. I knew my dress was revealing but I didn't know it would be enough to attract men's attention.
"And how do you plan on repaying the damage that you caused ,you ruined a lot of people's mood tonight you could pay 1 million as compensation."
I almost screamed, what the hell?!
"Sir.. I don't have that kind of money", 1 million could change my life forever and he thinks he can't just ask me to pay 1 million and I will gladly accept I won't get that money even if I work my ass off for four shifts a day.
"then I suppose I have to send you to prison",he smirks.
"Please sir, you can't do that to me!"
"oh,I can",he dared.
He was getting on my nerves,i was the victim here, I was the one almost abused,I was supposed to be the one getting the fucking compensation .
"What can I do to repay you back?",I asked.
He handed me his business card,"Call me when you get home and we'll discuss it at another place. My name is Kendrick Johnson and you?"
