Summary

Lila sits crossed leg on her desk beside her window, a soft blanket wrapped around her. The moonlight spills through her window, casting silver shadows on the walls. She clutches the blanket and says "Dear Moon," , "I know it's silly, but I feel like you're the only one who truly understands me." A sudden sound outside makes her jump-a moving truck pulls up next door. Curious, she peeks out the window and sees a boy about her age unloading boxes. His hair is messy, and he's squinting at the moon like he's trying to find it too and suddenly their eyes meet Lila blinks. And just like that the wall she had built around her life for so long crumbles.

Prologue

Finally school's over Lila sighed as she walked down the school's hallway.she was introverted so she didn't have a lot of friends and always wore a hoodie unlike most girls in highschool she didn't wear makeup or dress up cause to her it was a waste of time and if anyone likes you it should be the real you not some mask you wear called makeup but on the other hand her best friend Madison always wore makeup, fancy clothes and liked to party. I know you might be wondering how they became friends, the truth is that they had been friends since elementary school and she was the only one who stood by her side when her dad died two years ago then all her other friends even her boyfriend left her and since then she just shut herself away from the world.

Tatouie: There wasn’t anything I didn’t like except maybe more of a finality to the European Charter that was up to no good. I feel like they wouldn’t have left so quietly. Otherwise loved the story, great rhythm can’t wait to read more books.
