Cata Cuthbert’s Path III: The fear of changing…

Life in the Imaginary world went on after the beautiful evolution of the bright family after events of the story: As our paths EXTEND!

The planttopia kingdom kept improving but the planttopians started caring more about its beauty and it was mostly as beautiful as if it was Cata's own design..

As for Love kingdom, Cata's favorite kingdom, it flourished as Queen Sophia ruled it since Love kingdom was a part of the imaginary world planet.. as for love queendom, it was connected to the real world, thats why Its a QUEENDOM, and its queen and citizens are secret for those who dont know! As for other kingdoms, they went on their typical duties..

Meanwhile, the bright family was happy together after reuniting.. Pinky as Cata, Cato and Alice's neighbor, they met more often so Cata can even spend time with her niece, Alvetta the baby! And Pinky was in her 4th month of pregnancy! And the unborn baby was a boy.. the only thing that made Cata impatient is that she wants to use her talents and make gifts for him just like she does for everyone even Alvetta!

As for Alice, her restaurant grew better and better and it had branches in various kingdoms led by people who have her secret recipe.. but planttopia'ss branch will always be the best because shes in it!

As for Cato, she adapted to the monthly wars planttopia and wither kingdom threw every month.. She was ready everytime and her strength improved so much she led most wars! That's how their lives in the Golden heart era II was like.. and since the story talks about Cata's life.. first.. get to know about her daily life now

She went to the hospital from Sunday to Thursday, when she came back, she'd check on her farm and take care of the plants, in the palace at night Pinky would visit them and the four of them would watch TV or play together

And in the weekends, Cata would work on large projects like crochet clothes, silk dresses, making furniture or decorative sculptures.. or simply accessories. She was always enthusiastic about those!

When she was bored in the palace, she'd hangout in the third plaza and meet new people or look for a sad person so she can make them happy!

Days passed like this and Cata called each day amazing.. she had learned from life that things dont stay the same.. that they always change during a certain event or as time slowly passes..

and it pained her, cuz she feared change and despised it deeply.. she simply wished things stay the same and she continued her happy days..

she even wrote a song to make people happy with!

She was so happy and she cherished every moment!

But all of a sudden..

days got sad.. and she felt empty.. games did not feel as fun anymore.. Awesome ideas for desigining became old and boring.. even the plaza she always hanged out in felt.. normal.

Nothing happened.

this is why Cata felt a bit sad.. because nothing is happening, just an awesome routine for a month and half after they came back from their vacation in Beachway till today.. so due to the repeated routine, the emptiness came…

As the emptiness came..

Cata slowly started to simply reflect in any free time during the day about what she wants to do.. find ways to make life back to being exciting and fun again with a new dream to achieve.. but she couldnt really get any answers..

“What should I do..?” She thought as she sat in her crafting room, trying to ignore the mess.

Her job as a doctor also became stressful, as for her hobbies, her DIY items became alot and she didnt like how crowdy her room became....

And fun things seemed to be as boring as a normal routine.. Maybe she needed something new?

There was something on her mind in a long while ago.. that she somehow forgot about..

as she walked around her palace, the white and gold themed home with cat ear shaped roofs, she checked her mailbox.. and found a letter.

That exact moment..

It reminded her of something..

That something was about her old friends.. and the friend she actually wanted to meet; Leon Zac!

That moment Cata remembered all what she did to meet him.. She remembers, that a while ago, she put a letter in his old mailbox at the old home that she knew when she went to planttopia, and she remembered that she was planning to meet him back then, when she checked the letter.. luckily it was from him.

She decided to continue what she started and forgot to complete, she ran to her room with the letter..

She sat on her desk, reading the letter..

“Hello Cata!

I am still in planttopia! I have alot I want to say, but I won’t be here for a while.

Here is my address though.”

She read happily.. with a hopeful smile, feeling hope return.. she starting writing a reply to his letter.. her purple heart wand looking pen moving slowly as she focused on the words..

“Leon!

I am glad that you did not leave completely.. I’d love to see you and know what you have to say.”

After then, she memorized the address that he had written.. she didn't know what was that address for.. another house of his own? A shop? But Eitherways she decided to search for that address and hopefully she'd find him there! and even her eyes lit up at the idea, finally she’ll get to find a piece of her past that she loved so much… This Day..

The address turned out to be the address of a small park he and two of his friends built, it seemed creative and neat.. but it was empty..

“Hmm.. Maybe I didnt know about it since Cato is the one responsible for Planttopia lately..”

Cata spotted a mailbox which made her slightly relieved so she placed the letter in it and hoped no matter how, they can meet and reunite again.

Everyday, Cata'd walk to the park and wait for a while till anyone comes, she often found normal visitors who hang out although they were few, but neither Leon nor his friends showed up.. and Cata didnt give up, she had nothing that seemed fun she can do and she was determined to just meet him.. and determination always makes good results.

On a Tuesday evening, Cata went to the park again.. to find a person spraying the trees to avoid bugs.. a familiar person. It was.. Leon's friend; one Cata met before

"This is Leon's friend.. Leon seems to not come here at all.. but since Im determined, I will seek help from his friend!" Cata thought in her mind

As she summons the courage along with her determination, and walked up to him,

"Hey there!" She called out.. but the moment he looked at her she lost all her courage and forgot what she was supposed to say to seem formal

"hey?" He replied

"Uhhh- Do you know me?" Cata asked and the guy left what he was doing to face her

"Of course, the princess governess of planttopia! Please dont take our place down.”

"Oh dont worry- well Im.. an old friend of the builder of this park, Leon Zac.. we’ve lost contact for years and im looking for him so.. uh.. do you have any infos-?"

"Do you want me to call him for you?"

"Wait.. you really can do that?" Said Cata as she was surprised

"Yeah, he had this new phone number from a while that he shared with only a few of us.. and the reason he isnt here usually is because he had some tasks to do at the capital city of Luvana kingdom; his birth city and he Occasionally comes to planttopia for a day or two to check up on his shop, park, houses and Return back."

"Oh.. I see!" She said as her eyes lit up more with hope

"Yes, Hes been in Luvana kingdom for a long time due to some family related stuff, you wont see him in planttopia alot.. so since youre looking for him I can call him and tell him"

"Yes please, That means alot to me"

"So.. do I tell him youre his friend from old plant kingdom right?"

"Yes, thats me!”

"Okay"

Leon's friend called him and Leon responded after a few moments.. which made Cata anxious but excited, after the call

"Okay He's coming right now"

"Right now??! Really?!"

"Yes!"

After 30 mins, Leon came on a flying giant bird and landed.. the difference of years seemed to be obvious on him

"Cata..! Its you!" Leon said, easily recognizing her even as a young adult he knew as a preteenager.

"Leon! You're.. here! I.. I finally met you!" She turned cheerful and energetic immediately! Feeling all memories rush back.

And they greeted warmly as they finally met after all these years, they reminisced about the past, their good friendship, how the surprises he made her had made her happy.. she also told him about how regretful she felt for taking most of their friendships for granted and ended up forgetting them easily to end up with those stupid Sarah and Luna girls..

"Im sorry Leon.. you're a really great friend and Im glad i matured till I realized it.. thats why I wanted to meet you and our true friends again, and I want to bring these days back!"

"Yeah those days were great! And its okay I know you were young back then, the good thing is that we met again! And the lazy planttopian I once knew is now the governess of planttopia! Congratulations!”

"Yay!" She cheered and giggled as her star powers bursted into an aura around her.

And they continued talking for a while as Leon's friend watched them feeling happy to watch these two friends reunite..

After a while Leon got a call to go back to Luvana immediately for some papers so he bid goodbye to Cata, he gave her his phone number and hoped they'd meet again! He got on his giant bird hybrid and flew back to Luvana and Cata watched him as she felt relief settling in her heart, her guilt and regret of their friendship being taken for granted is now gone, everything's okay.. And she finally has a way to contact one of those people, especially her close friend, and therefore, the dreams of her past all became achieved too!

She had nothing unfinished from the past anymore, and well all the dreams from the present are achieved! Maybe there are teeny weeny details from Cata's past about things she wanted to do like making portraits of nature, etc and she did them to finally feel closure! :D
