Summary

After the war between humans and demons ended 150 years ago, the Demon King’s heir becomes curious about humans and decides to live among them—not as a ruler, but as a teacher. Taking the name Lucian, he enrolls at a magic academy after making a shocking deal with the headmaster: he won’t destroy the school in exchange for being allowed to teach. Assigned to the academy’s most troublesome “Irregular Class,” Lucian faces students who lack discipline, control, and confidence—forcing him to figure out how to teach from scratch while adapting his overwhelming understanding of magic to their level. As chaos, comedy, and growth unfold in the classroom, suspicion rises among the staff—because if anyone discovers Lucian’s true identity, peace may not last much longer.

Chapter 1: The Demon Who Wanted a Classroom

Scene: Demon Realm – Throne Hall of the Eternal King

The hall is silent except for the low crackling of black flames that float in the air like living embers. Massive pillars carved from obsidian stretch into darkness above, disappearing into an endless void.

At the center sits the Demon King.

His presence alone bends space slightly, as if reality itself refuses to sit straight before him.

In front of the throne kneels his son—the heir of the Demon King.

Unlike the grotesque image humans might imagine, he appears calm, almost human-like. But his eyes… his eyes carry something far older than time should allow.

The Demon King speaks first.

Demon King:

"You've been watching them again."

The heir does not deny it.

Heir:

"Yes."

A pause.

The flames flicker.

Demon King:

"Humans."

He says the word like it tastes unfamiliar.

Demon King:

"They are weak. Short-lived. Fragile."

The heir tilts his head slightly.

Heir:

"And yet… they build cities that touch the sky. They fight even when they are certain to lose. They laugh even when they suffer."

A faint silence settles.

Then—

Heir (softly):

"They are interesting."

A low rumble of laughter spreads through the hall. Elder demons, hidden in the shadows, begin to whisper and mock.

Elder Demon:

"The heir has grown curious like a child."

Elder Demon 2:

"Perhaps he should be sent to the human realm as a prisoner instead."

The heir doesn't react.

The Demon King raises one hand.

Silence returns instantly.

He leans forward slightly.

Demon King:

"Interesting… is a dangerous word."

The heir meets his gaze.

No fear.

Only curiosity.

Heir:

"I want to try something."

The Demon King narrows his eyes.

Demon King:

"Speak."

The heir answers without hesitation.

Heir:

"I want to become a teacher."

For a moment—

Nothing moves.

Even the flames seem to stop burning.

Then—

The entire hall erupts in laughter.

Elder Demon:

"A TEACHER?!"

Elder Demon 2:

"The strongest being in existence… teaching weak human children?!"

But the heir remains still.

Not offended.

Not angry.

Just patient.

The Demon King studies him carefully.

Then—

A smile forms.

Dangerous.

Curious.

Approving.

Demon King:

"If you go… you go alone."

The laughter stops.

Demon King:

"No name. No army. No demon authority."

The heir nods.

Heir:

"Agreed."

The Demon King continues.

Demon King:

"And if they discover what you are?"

The heir finally smiles.

A small one.

Almost human.

Heir:

"Then I will learn what happens next."

The Demon King leans back.

Demon King:

"Then go."

The heir stands.

And for the first time in centuries—

He steps toward the human world.
