Mina didn’t want to go to hostel. Now she can’t leave.
She came to Louise University to study. Instead, she found Room 103, a mirror that won’t show her reflection, and letters from someone who says she killed them 15 years ago.
Her dad told her to stay away. The warden warned her to stop digging. Her friends Jia, Janu, Maira, and Sana are all in.
This is a YA mystery-horror about 5 girls, 1 haunted hostel, and a secret that someone died to keep.
Content warning: Paranormal themes, creepy letters, mentions of death. No graphic gore.

Summary

Hey, it’s ChapterHex. I wrote The Hostel because I wanted Scooby-Doo meets The Haunting of Hill House, but with hostel girls who run on instant noodles and bad decisions. Mina, Jia, Janu, Maira, Sana — they’re not investigators. They’re tired students who accidentally opened a door they shouldn’t have. Now there are portals, creepy letters, and a warden who knows more than she says. This story is for anyone who’s ever had a 3 AM hostel pact: “If one of us disappears, we’re all going to find them.” Trust no warden. Check Room 103.

Chapter 1 : The Terrifying Story

Hi! My name is Mina. Mina's mother was calling, "Mina! Mina, are you ready to go to the hostel?"

Mina said, "But Ma, I don't wanna go to the hostel. I will study here only!"

Mina's mother said, "Listen to me. You are not studying here properly. You are always distracted. We will come to the hostel to see you every Sunday."

Mina said, "Okay, Mom. Bye!"

Mina's mother said, "Take care of yourself. Bye!"

Her dad dropped her at the hostel and left. Mina met a girl there.

Mina said, "Hey! What's your name?"

The girl said, "I am Jia. You?"

Mina said happily, "I am Mina. Nice to meet you, Jia."

Jia said, "Oh! So you are Mina. We are sharing the same room."

Mina said curiously, "Can we be friends? And do you know anything about this hostel?"

Jia said, "Of course! We can. I am also new to this hostel. I came here one month ago, so I don't know everything about this hostel yet. But I do know one thing: everyone says there is a terrifying story behind this hostel. I want to find it out. Can you help me with this mission? I have two more members with me, Janu and Maira."

Mina said, "I will be in this mission. When will you start the investigation?"
