Chapter 1 The Magical Flower

_Jessica's POV_

CHAPTER 1: INFORMATION ON MAGICAL FLOWER

There are two worlds: Heaven and Hell. They've been enemies forever. Heaven has a King, and Hell has a King too.

In Heaven, the girls are called Fairies and the boys are called Fays. In Hell, the girls are called Darkmiras and the boys are called Devils.

One day, my dad - the Heaven King - called all the Fairies and Fays for a meeting.

"Listen carefully," Dad said. "Hell is preparing to fight us. It could start any day now. We need to be alert."

He looked at all of us. "To prepare, we're holding a magical power competition in one week. Every Fairy and Fay must participate. I need to see your hidden talents."

The meeting ended, and my heart was racing. War with Hell? That was serious.

I'm Jessica, by the way. The Heaven King's daughter.

And the Hell King's son? His name is Jin. I didn't know it yet, but our lives were about to crash into each other.

After the meeting, I went straight to my dad. "Dad, what's going on? I heard there's a secret agent from Hell here."

His face turned grim. "Yes. There's a spy in Heaven, feeding information to the Hell King. You need to find out who it is."

"Yes, Dad," I said.

I went to Caleb first. He's been my best friend for years.

"Hey, Jessica! Long time no see," he said. "How are you?"

"I'm fine. Listen, this is important. There's a secret agent from Hell here. He's leaking information about Heaven. Will you help me find him?"

"Of course," Caleb said. "I'll help you."

Three days passed. We found nothing.

Then I overheard a phone call.

"Hello, Hell King? I have information. There's a competition here... What about Jessica? She trusts me more than a diamond. Poor Jessica, hahaha. She's so dumb. I've been with her for two years and she still hasn't figured it out."

It was Caleb.

"Caleb, you betrayed me!" I shouted.

"Jess... don't talk to me like that. I didn't mean to-"

"Stop. You're a liar." My heart felt like it shattered.

I ran to my dad. "Dad, I found the secret agent. It's Caleb."

"What?" Dad's eyes went wide. "He betrayed us. He's not allowed to leave. Send him back to Hell."

Back in Hell, Calib was on the phone with the Hell King.

"Hell King, I got caught by the Heaven King."

"What? How? You were talking to me on your phone and they saw you?"

"Yes. I'm sorry."

"It's fine. I'll send another devil."

That's when the Hell King turned to his son.

"Jin. I need a favor."

"What is it, Dad?"

"You have to go to Heaven as our secret agent."

"What? Sorry, I can't. You can send another devil. I can't betray Heaven."

"You _are_ a devil, Jin. If you go to Heaven, you can see your sister."

I froze. Sister?

"Okay, Dad. I'll go."

Meanwhile, I didn't know any of this.

Jin arrived in Heaven. "Wow," he thought. "So this is what Heaven looks like. I've heard so many rumors. It's beautiful."

He knew he needed shelter, so he had to make a friend fast.

That's when I saw him.

"Hey. Hi. Who are you? I've lived here for three years and I've never seen you before."

"Hi, I'm... uh... new here."

"I'm Jessica. Nice to meet you. Where's your home?"

"I don't have shelter."

"Oh. Do you know Kareena? She's my best friend. I'll show you her house."

We walked there. "This is her home. Thank you, Jessica."

"You're welcome. Bye, Jin."

"Bye, Jessica."

As soon as I left, Kareena slammed the door.

"Why are you here? This will be a big problem!"

"I can't do anything, Kareena. If I go back to Hell, they'll just teleport me to Heaven again. The Hell King sent me as a secret agent. You're my sister. I didn't want to do this."

"I don't know what to do," she said. "But I can't let you stay at my house."

"Please, Kareena. Best friend, please."

"Fine. But if my dad finds out, I can fight Hell for you."

Later, Kareena came to my house.

"Hi, Jessica. How are you?"

"I'm fine. Why'd you come here all of a sudden?"

"I need to ask you for something important."

"What is it?"

"There's a magical flower in the Mountains of Angel Spire."

"What's special about it?"

"If we get that flower, we become the rulers of the mountains. But only someone 100% pure-hearted can take it. You got 100% on the recent test. The rest of us only got 97. You're the only one who can do it. Will you go for me?"

"It's very difficult, but I can do it," I said.

Just then, Jin showed up.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"I want to meet my sister. Also... can you do me a favor?"

"What?"

"Can you take me to Angel Spire with you?"

I blinked. "Okay. I'll take you."

"Thank you. Kareena, will you come too?"

"Fine. I'll come," she said.

Back in Hell, the Hell King's assistant rushed in.

"Hell King! There's information about Heaven. There's a magical flower. Whoever takes it becomes king or queen of both worlds. Heaven and Hell will have to obey them."

"What? We have to take that flower!"

"I'll call Jin."

Phone call:

"Hello, Jin? It's Dad. Why haven't you called?"

"Jin, you need to go to Angel Spire."

"I'm already going with Jessica, Dad."

"Good. You have to stop her from taking the flower."

"Okay, Dad."

Kareena pulled Jin aside. "Why did you accept Jessica's request?"

"I wanted to see the flower. And Dad told me to stop Jessica from taking it."

"What if she takes it? Heaven and Hell will become friends."

"I know. But I can't say no to him. He could destroy me. He said _I_ have to take the flower."

"But you're only 82% pure. You can't."

"I know. Kareena, you can do it for me, right?"

"I'm only 98%. I can't either."

"What will happen?"

"If I take it, I'll die. But I still want to try, for you."

"Thanks, my dear sister. But keep quiet. If Jessica hears, we'll have a big problem."

I came back out. "I'm ready. Can we go now?"

"Yes," they said.

Kareena warned us, "You know it's 50 km away. We have to go on foot."

"But I want to see a picture first," I said.

"I'll show you with magic."

"It's not working. Magic doesn't work on this flower."

"Fine. You'll see it directly. Let's start."

On the way, we hit a mountain.

"What is this mountain?" I asked.

"I don't know," Kareena said.

I touched it. My hand went straight through. It was an illusion.

"It's fake! We can walk through it."

I stepped through and the mountain disappeared.

We kept walking. Kareena pointed. "There's a paper on the ground.'"

I picked it up. There was a code: 903046.

"I think this is a code for a door. We have to find it."

Night fell. We stopped to rest.

"Do you know any place here?" I asked.

"No," Jin said.

An old woman appeared.

"Why are you sitting here?"

"We're trying to find the magical flower."

"I don't know exactly where it is, but I can help. There's a tree that can talk. If you find it, it will tell you everything."

Then she vanished.

"Where is it?" Jin asked.

But she was gone
