Previously on End of the Stars...
The 51st Regiment of the Resistance launched a desperate mission. Their target: the Collective ship F-88, and the mastermind behind the enemy’s iron grip on the galaxy.
But the hunt turned into a fall.
The F-88 shot them out of the sky before they ever got close. The 51st crashed onto a nameless, snow-ridden planet — white wasteland, howling winds, nowhere to run. Survival became the mission. They rationed heat, buried hope, and watched the cold take its toll.
It took Autumn first. One of their own, and the Admiral’s daughter. Her death was quiet, but it broke something in the Regiment that the blizzards couldn’t.
When rescue finally came, grief had already set in. The Admiral returned to his ship with a hollowed command — only to uncover a deeper wound: Ruby, his second in command, the 51st’s trusted officer, was a traitor.
She didn’t hesitate.Ruby killed the Admiral. Then she turned on Captain Rossane, cutting down the leader of the 51st so the Collective could breach the ship unchallenged.
What followed was a slaughter. Collective teams swarmed the decks. Hallways ran red with Resistance blood. Ruby had thrown open the gates, and the enemy meant to leave no one alive.
But the 51st wasn’t dead yet.
Rossane wasn’t. Not quite.
Bloodied but breathing, she confronted Ruby on the bridge — a final stand while the ship burned around them. And before Ruby could finish what she started, Lilith, another member of the 51st, put a bullet through the traitor.
With Ruby gone and Rossane rallying who was left, the Resistance turned the tide. They tore the Collective apart from the inside, destroying the F-88 and bringing down its leader.
The war was over. The Collective was broken. The 51st had paid in blood, but they’d won.
...Until now.
