Chapter 1
Of course, I needed to go to school! I can't even have a freaking BREAK! cause guess what, I'M COLLECTING MY SCRIPTS TODAY! Other students aren't coming to school because its a public holiday but will mum ever understand that? NO!
"Quinn! Start going to school!" Mum shouts downstairs. My younger sis, Avril, isn't going to school because of how they bullied her. I try defending her but mum said I shouldn't do it physically. WHAT DOES SHE EXPECT ME TO DO?! I'm not a person that is good in insulting or talking! and if I shout, I must slap because according to mum, I have anger issues🙄.
I went to school, practically I think I was the only cool person there. Others were nerds and annoying people. They were all surprised to see me there... I sat in between two annoying people. They just kept disturbing me. One of them bit my hand and I screamed. I got punished and the teacher didn't do anything to the girl that bit me.
I was going home so tired when I saw a restaurant and the smell of the croissant 🥐 was fascinating. I went to the restaurant and they were a lot of people there. I was about to leave plus I didn't have any money 💵 on me. Then a girl pulled me and let me stay in her front. I told her I didn't have money and she offered to pay for me. It was kind of fishy because I haven't been shown such kindness especially from a stranger. She paid for me and we exchanged numbers. I got home and laid on my bed and just stared at the number. I didn't call her but then I heard my phone ring, not once, not twice, but thrice. It was her.
I answer it and she sounded so happy. We kept talking about school and stuff. Her name was Brielle.
