Leyla's Room – Night before school)
Rhea: (Staring at her uniform) Hell starts tomorrow. Are you guys ready?
Sloane: (Painting her nails, bored) Ready to rule, as always.
Leyla: (Looking at an old photo on her phone) We have to be careful. If the secret from this summer gets out, we're done.
Sloane: No one talks. We're in this together.
(Next Morning – Silverstone Prep)
(Leyla, Rhea, and Sloane step out of the car. Every eye in the parking lot is on them.)
Dominic: (Smirking from the stairs) Look who's back. The exiled queens.
Xavier: Shut up, Dominic. Ares is coming.
(Ares walks down the stairs slowly. He stops inches away from Leyla. Total silence fills the hallway.)
Ares: (Leaning into her ear) Welcome to hell, Leyla. I hope you hid your lies well.
Leyla: (Looking him straight in the eye) Dig all you want, Ares. Just try not to bury yourself in the process.
Milo: (Watching from a distance, looking at his phone) Play the game... I just got the first notification.
(Every phone in the hallway vibrates at the same time. An anonymous message.)
The Message: Leyla didn't come back alone. She brought a corpse with her. Who's going to find it first?
Leyla: (Thinking: Who the hell knows about that night?)
Ares: (Smirks) The game is on.
