Wanted

My eyes flitted over to Damien, who stared down at me with such a burning intensity that he didn’t have to speak to convey what he wanted. I knew what it was. I felt it. My body was humming with new energy and a desire for something I’d long put off.

Feeling emboldened from the feed, I decided to test my power now. Immediately the surge felt clearer and more active this time as I only thought about what I wanted.

Before he had time to react, the command came as I thought it.

Kiss me.

His brows raised with surprise but he obeyed anyway. There was no shroud to cover him this time and protect him from my unyielding power. Damien leaned down over me, pushing my wild curls to the side to cup my cheeks in his large hands. He took his time, pulling impatience from me where it was already more than visible. Even as my chest heaved furiously, I kept my eyes on his until I felt his lips touch mine. Tentatively at first until it quickly deepened.

The kiss was euphoric.

The taste of him, his warmth, and his burning desire all swirled together furiously as he kissed me. A moan hummed through me contentedly. He caught it with his own lips, returning the favor as his hands traveled down my chest to lightly cup my breast. I leaned into the touch, needing more. There was a fire in me, an ache that throbbed and called out to him. A feeling I’d long held back and ignored for the sake of my own reservation and now as I released it, it wouldn’t be caged again.

As if he understood my own body more than I, he had me up and out my chair with ease. I didn’t even react to it or when my back found a wall. Damien had lost his patience and reservation also, his hands greedily tracing every curve of my body. His fingers found my hair and took a fistful, pulling my head back to expose more of me.

I couldn’t help but to follow his lead in the moment, legs wrapping around his waist as I cursed my dress for being in the way. My body desperately sought for friction and needed him impossibly closer. No matter how I pulled and tugged, trying desperately to seek after it as we both shared the heated moment, I realized it wasn’t enough.

Damien seemed to have me right where he wanted me even as our lips danced together. I felt him bite my mine, eliciting a soft hiss as I grabbed hold of his hair.

Acting on instinct, I ripped his shirt open to display more of his beautiful body. His skin smooth as stone and warm to the touch. Pulling away from him I couldn’t help but to let my eyes roam over his beautiful body, noticing the way his muscles tensed a bit under my touch.

“Tell me what you want,” he husked lowly. I went still for a second, wondering what he meant. He smiled softly at me before kissing my cheek and trailing the kisses to my ear. “I will do whatever you want, wherever you want but it must be your words.”

My heart stuttered for a moment as I desperately worked to keep myself in check. My mind was racing with questions, ideas, fears, and wants altogether. However, in this moment I knew very well what Damien was asking of me.

He wanted my resolve.

He needed to know if I’d finally made up my mind to follow what my heart wanted versus what my body craved. In truth, caged between his presence and the wall, I couldn’t tell the difference. I stared up at him, my words caught somewhere in my bosom as I tried to relay that.

The truth was: I wanted Damien physically, emotionally, and probably spiritually if he’d let me have it.
