Hi, Christy
Christina's POV
“I'm serious, you should come stay with us! My mom is dying to see you!”
I rolled my eyes as she screamed into the phone.
“I'm grieving, Olivia. I can't do that. Not right now.” I clung to my pillow. It still hurts like I had just experienced it.
“Grieving? Girl, he cheated on you! He should be the one grieving for losing a queen like you!”
I thinned my lips. While I agreed with her, it was still so hard.
“That doesn't make me feel the least better. Don't worry, I'm fine.”
She scoffed. Of course she did.
“I'm picking you up and that's final.”
She ended the call, and I screamed right into the pillow. Whenever Olivia made up her mind, she was not to be played with.
I had better start packing.
It's been a while, like a year since I've visited, because I had an internship to deal with. Imagine coming back to surprise him, and he was fucking some blonde.
That image might never leave my head. The night before, he had no idea I was on a plane, and he literally kept talking about how he loved me and wished I'd just come.
Who knows how long he's been cheating on me? I still can't believe I got cheated on. A whole beauty queen.
That's by the way. Michael is a fucking loser.
Good thing I packed because the second Oliva stormed into my apartment, she was dragging me out of it.
We got into her car and she drove off after giving me a hundred suffocating hugs.
I've missed her though, gosh.
I soon noticed she wasn't driving in the direction of their mansion.
“Where are we going?”
“Caden's, I live there now.”
I paused.
Her brother. Caden.
I haven't seen him in like five years.
“Wait, I thought you said your mom wanted to see me?”
I spotted her sneaky smile.
“I lied. She doesn't even know you're back and we aren't telling her before she steals you from me.”
I took in a breath, sinking into the passenger seat. This girl will not kill me.
My thoughts floated back to Caden. I wondered what he looked like now.
When we arrived, I couldn't care for her tour, I smelled pasta and realized I was so hungry, so I made her take me to the kitchen.
Then it hit me.
“You cooked? You?” My jaw dropped.
Olivia and cooking do not belong in the same sentence. She was actually a great cook. Let's say she cooked so much, obsessed over it for years, then all of a sudden she loathed it, so this was insane.
She looked stunned by my question.
“What? Not me. I absolutely didn't cook this.”
“Then who did—”
“Hi, Christy.”
I heard a voice. A deep, thick voice. It felt smooth like butter. My name had never sounded so good. Slowly, I turned around, and my next words got stuck in my throat.
Caden.
Oh. Wow. It's…him.
He leaned against the wall, his eyes doing a sweep of my whole body, and suddenly goosebumps attacked my skin.
He's…hot. He had grown out big muscles, so prominent through his shirt, I bet he could lift me with one hand. His shoulders were broad and he was so tall, like an unreal length.
I don't remember him being this…being this Caden. I remember awkward, lean Caden. Definitely not this one.
“Christy?” He called out to me again, bringing me out of my short daze. Then he wore an amused smile.
“Uhm, hi, Caden.”
“You're back.”
I nodded my head, still stunned I couldn't talk. When did he get so ridiculously big?
When he approached me and enveloped me in a hug, I was surprised he did that, but he felt so warm like a warm pillow, when he stepped away I almost cried.
“You're all grown up now.” I'm not sure I could handle the way he was looking at me, like right into my eyes, heavy contact, but I tried to control it.
“I could say the same for you.”
He looked down at himself like he couldn't agree more, and I couldn't be more grateful that he looked away.
“Well, I've been working. I need to impress women, you know.” He wore a slight grin like he knew he was hot. I could feel Olivia rolling her eyes.
His gaze returned back to me, heavy, and I almost faltered. Why was he so obsessed with eye contact?
I was definitely impressed, alright?
“That's cool.”
“Thanks.” He proceeded to pull out one of the stools as Olivia took time to serve all three of us.
“So, you cooked.”
“I hope it's to your liking.” God, what a gentleman. To be fair, he's always been a gentleman. Too bad I don't like him that way, and I can't even dare to.
“I guess I'll have to find out.” He was about to sit next to me, but Olivia wasn't having it. Sometimes I wondered if her brother was scared of her, because anything she wanted, she got. When she made him move to the next stool so she could sit next to me, he didn't even fight her.
Most older brothers I knew were bullies.
Yeah, I definitely enjoyed lunch. It tasted amazing. I thanked Caden one more time.
After lunch, Olivia took me to my room that's absolutely bigger than my apartment, literally.
It looked like someone vomited a thousand shades of pink inside, and it had both a medieval and modern touch to it. It was amazing, well fitting for a princess.
“I'll leave you alone for now.” She said, and I settled in right after she left. Seems I was staying here for a while.
I unpacked, arranged my stuff, then I proceeded to take a soothing bath. I put on shorts and a tiny camisole because I had no plans to come out of this room again, when I got a visitor.
I heard a knock. Olivia wouldn't knock.
I went to answer the door.
Caden.
Air left my lungs again, even more when his eyes immediately dipped to my chest.
My breasts were literally almost pouring out of my tightly fitted top. It lasted for a second like he didn't mean to do it, then his eyes were back up.
He cleared his throat.
“Do you like the place? I could get you a better room if you'd like.”
I wore a warm smile. He's always been like this.
“I'm comfortable, really comfortable, thank you, and thank you for letting me stay here.”
“It's no problem, you're always welcome.
By the way, my room's at the other wing. You can come see me if you have any problems, alright?”
“Sure thing.” Then his eyes were back on my chest. He shut his eyes hard for a split second, and once again, his eyes returned to my face.
He left right after, like he was suddenly in a hurry.
I tried to move past the sudden adrenaline rush I was feeling from nowhere. I don't know why things with him felt…different now. I couldn't place my finger on what was happening exactly, but I knew there was definitely that tension.
Whatever. Just then, my door flung open.
Olivia.
“Why can't we just share a room?” She wasn't asking. She was literally wrapped up in her duvet, and she brought an obscene amount of snacks.
“You know what? I agree with you.”
“Yay!” Then she let herself in and jumped into my bed, dragging me in with her. The snacks consisted of chocolates, chips and sour candy. I helped myself to a lot, because I'm a sugar freak.
“So, tell me everything about your internship, nutritionist Christina!”
Now that kind of made me proud. I started talking, and I said a lot, but guess what?
This girl had the audacity to sleep off on me. With all her energy, it was only fair.
I went online to see Caden liking all my posts on my Instagram. He even sent a friend request.
I unconsciously bit my lips, chewing on my fingernails, wondering what it meant. Where did he even find my account?
Maybe I should go to his wing to tell him to stop doing that. Yeah, I should.
I snuck out of bed and headed there, in slow, quiet steps. His door was slightly open, so I snuck in, only to meet him fresh out of the shower, his hair wet, his upper body, bare.
I saw thick, naked muscles in real time, and I stopped myself from imagining my tongue gliding across them, because I couldn't want that with him, even though I'm also a muscle freak.
We are like family. He's almost my brother.
I looked low at his hard ass through his towel, that was now getting loose.
“Hey, Christy.” Then he craned his neck, a smile I couldn't understand tugged at his lips.
Oh my God. I flinched. He knew I was there?
“Uhm, Hi…”

yay! A new Story! Im already liking it.🩷
