I spent a long time wondering if I imagined it. I don't think I did. And if it meant something to you, it meant everything to me. So here is the book that was born from the thing that never got to be a book in real life.

And I loved you even when I shouldn't have.
In another life, a braver January, an empty room, no titles, no lines to stay inside, I think we would have found each other properly. I think you would have let yourself look. I think I would have let myself stay.
But this life gave us what it gave us. And it was not nothing.
