Prologue
Why in all world that creature fall for me?
Elizabeth:
It was a quiet evening. The ballroom filled with so many nobles from south, all gathered here for second prince and princess's 18th birthday. Yes, they are twin- or rather, I should say, most spoiled nobles in the entire southern region. Queen adores them, and the king always praises them as if they were the only one who can use magic. Ridiculous, Even though every noble should be introduced to magic by age of ten. Looking at royal family, it feels oddly suspicious. Do they even care about first prince, who has been lost since he was 5? But who am I to doubt them? Yeah, I'm just a normal detective they hired to find traces of the lost prince. It's only been a week I came here from North, and yet they treat me like I've been living here for ages. Nevermind. Let's talk around to see if I can find any clue for this mysteries disappearance of so-called first prince. Though, I highly doubt I would find anything usually. I mean, everyone will just say "sorry, He disappear long ago, we have no idea about it." But hey, It's not like I have to give up in fate completely, right? Roaming around asked a lot of people, just to hear same thing again and again.
By the time everyone dancing on ballroom floor, few so-called "charming" nobles came up to me, asking if I would like to dance with them. To my answer it was a big no. Anyway, I was so absorbed in my own thoughts that I didn't notice something fall right beside my shoes. And when I looked down at it, our eyes locked for a split second before I screamed "THERE’S A LIZARD! BRING ME A SWORD! I'M GONNA END THIS CREATURE LIFE!!"
Charles:
Everything from above, look so majestic- the nobles dancing, and the few greetings prince and princess for there 18th birthday. I left this place too soon to witness anything alongside them. It must feel good when you have your both parents supporting you, loving you, and having throne to themselves once they eligible for it right? I never thought I would admit it, but I wanted to feel this kind of feeling too... But now, looking at whole ballroom I notice a girl. Look decent enough..maybe even beautiful, but ofcourse, I won't admit that easily. somewhat she doesn't seems like she's from south, more likely somewhere from colder region. I don't care if she's from south or not. But you know? curiosity will always lead you to chaos and so I like it.
Moving a little closer won't hurt anyone, right? But to my foolishness, I lost my grip and let myself fall straight from celling, falling beside her shoes. she didn't noticed me yet, but when she did, our eyes locked for a split second until she got idea of what kind of creature it was. Next thing i knew, she was screaming and running after me with a sword to end my life and for the fun I run around as everyone do the same marathon and ruining whole celebration. All of this is so amusing- to think everyone is scared of a little creature, something small as a lizard.
