Rosie is looking for jobs to earn. He applied for interviews in different companies. Today, she has an interview in MONROE company. It is a big investing company. She went to the interview. There were few employees and also the CEO of that company. The interview started. ‘So, introduce yourself.’ The interview person said. ‘I am ROSIE WELLSON. I came here to secure a job in this company.’ Rosie continued. Gabriel, the CEO, who was not interested to look at the people who came for the interview, looked up to Rosie. He recognized her by her voice. ‘It’s her. Rosie. Rosie Wellson. She changed a lot. I can’t believe I really met her here. Like this.’ Gabriel, zoned out in his thoughts. Rosie, while talking, saw Gabriel looking at her, zoned out. Rosie got nervous but still completed her interview. The company told her that they will inform her after conforming with their CEO. While going home, Rosie was lost in thoughts. ‘Is it really him? Or am I just hallucinating things? No. It really is him. Gabriel Monroe. But, why was he there? Does he work there? Probably. Well leave it, Rosie. Now you have to wait for the results.’ She lives in an apartment. Her family lives in other state. Rosie came here to work and to settle here. Whereas, her parents work in the other state. After few days, Rosie got the result. She passed the interview. ‘Finally, I got the job. Now, I don’t have to search for jobs again.’ Rosie mumbled to herself and was happily dance. From next day, she started doing her job in the company. She still didn’t know who her boss was. Everything was going fine until her senior, Kenie Wood, started pointing out her in everything. She was jealous that Rosie was too good in her job and was getting too much attention from her colleagues. She used to try making her feel insulted or make her bad in others eyes but always failed. On the other hand, Gabriel used to protect her without her knowing. One day, one of her colleagues asked her to meet the CEO for some doubt. ‘Hey, Rosie. Can you please go and clarify this doubt with CEO. Please. I’m too scared to meet him.’ Her colleague said. ‘Why are you scared of him? Is he some kind of creep or something?’ Rosie replied laughing. ‘No, he is not. But if anyone asks him anything he always shout at them or just insult them indirectly. Actually, even I don’t know but I heard some talks. So that’s why. You are new, right? He won’t say anything. Please.’ ‘Okey. I will go then. Wish me luck.’ Rosie tells them and goes to his office, awkwardly. Rosie knocks on the door. ‘Come in…’ a voice came from inside. She opens the door only to find Gabriel sitting on the CEO chair, with his hands on the desk. Rosie was stunted and said, ‘Gabriel? GABRIEL MONROE? You… you are my boss?’ ‘Why? Are you sad that I’m your boss?’ Gabriel replied, smirking. ‘Come in. Sit. Tell me. What happened? Drink some water first. You seem a bit dehydrated.’ Rosie sat down on the couch near his desk and drank some water. Then stood to ask her doubt about the work. Gabriel cuts her talk and asks, ‘How have you been? It’s been nearly 6 years since we met. You changed a lot, Rosie.’ ‘I’m good sir. So, in this...’ Rosie continued awkwardly. ‘Don’t call me sir when we are alone, Rosie. Call me by my name.’ Gabriel said to Rosie. Rosie smiled awkwardly and clarified her doubt. While she was leaving, Grabriel stopped her. ‘I hope we get along, Rosie.’ ‘Yeah. Sure, sir…’ Rosie replied and left the room. Gabriel still has feelings for Rosie. Since 6years. Whereas, Rosie, moved on from him. Not totally, but enough to fall for another guy.

Obsidian: He's hilarious. Like, actually. I loved it. You're writing style is great, although you could do with a few less murmurs and mutters. I know it sounds critical, but I have the same problem and I hate it. Overall, it was one of the best stories I've read on here so far. I liked it better than those M...
