Chapter 1 – The Man Everyone Feared

Every shopping mall had a person employees feared the most.

At East Grand Mall...

That person was me.

My name is Tres Villanueva, the CCTV Operator and Assistant Administrative Officer. My office sat beside the Human Resources Department, surrounded by dozens of CCTV monitors that captured every corner of the mall.

Nothing escaped my eyes.

If a cashier arrived late...

I knew.

If a sales associate ignored a customer...

I knew.

If a guard abandoned his post...

I knew.

Every violation landed on my desk before the employee even realized they had been caught.

My civilian guards constantly reported suspicious behavior, and I never hesitated to take action.

Warning.

Suspension.

Termination.

Everyone knew I never played favorites.

The moment I stepped into the hallway, conversations stopped.

Employees immediately stood straight.

Some even lowered their heads as if a principal had just entered the classroom.

Whenever someone greeted me...

"Good morning, Sir Tres."

I simply walked past them without saying a word.

No smile.

No greeting.

No emotion.

To them.

..And honestly..

I preferred it that way.

Until one ordinary Monday morning...

Someone unknowingly changed everything.

Blue: Over 120 pages and still no real storyline, or even clear exposition. Constant allusion to "hidden" meanings and feelings. Having said that, the potential is there, but the next chapters need to start making a point quickly - right now it feels that the author doesn't actually know where the story i...
