the encounter
Sunshine finished with the last two cups and placed them back onto the shelf; she also made sure the spices and silverware were formed neatly to avoid any mix-ups for customers. She surveyed the tables and shelves, making sure no dust or empty sugar packets were around. The one thing that caught her eye was two white dots near the bushes across from her cafe; this caught Sunshine off guard for a second, but she shrugged it off as she remembered that Lacy was talking about putting some sensor lights down as to warn off crazy Lacy.
Sunshine: Ha, me and my stupid mind. I’ve got to start getting used to those things
spring elk have to go through security measures to be more alert to crazy Lacy’s movements
Sunshine: Of course, crazy. Lacy sends her guards around at night. Since Lacy has guards around her castle, mostly there is a lack of protection for others. I’m sure there’s a perfect explanation to that. Well, enough reminiscing; it's time to lock up and head to bed. If I’m all tired and sluggish in the morning, that won’t look so great for others now, will it
Sunshine remembered before resting her head to first close the blinds and switch off cookware and lights. Sunshine went to the first window in the kitchen as she released the string slowly, allowing the blinds to close. A small tap was heard on the window in the backroom; this startled sunshine at first
Sunshine: Ha, that’s funny. I’m pretty sure I told the customers I close at 11 at night; maybe someone can’t go without their coffee
sunshine approaches the next room laughing to herself softly to refrain from being scared
