confined and helpless

Crazy Lacy: I always like seeing the new and distressed captives shake and whimper, ready to lose all past memories and recent ones; of course, some will stand their ground and try to challenge my actions as heinous and unjustified, yada yada. Once your feet tread upon my soil, your privileges have been revoked. There isn’t a two-sided die; you will abide by my orders.
Each bear is first shackled and thrown into medium-sized cages. Some are fortunate to have a roomie, and others are to stand alone, left in their thoughts as they see their years of happiness fade away.
Some will cry softly, and others plead many times for a release; these attempts become stagnant, just like the putrid, black and bubbling ocean waters that were a minute ago pure and tranquil. The skyline twists into a dark hue of purple, with many dark, puffy clouds crowding above. Not much can be seen in the distance, but a grey, foggy wall obstructs the view of the town. The problem you face isn’t the island but the chaotic rhythm of the waves becoming heavy and swift, rocking the side of the boat and throwing off some of the bears’ balance. Guards are fitted with special footwear and armour plates designed to exact the right altitude in the waters. This keeps others from drowns well oak away
The thunder in the distance roars and erupts; still unable to get a clear view – this can leave many of the bears shaken, distressed, or disoriented. Once they arrive, they are ordered to stand at the back of the cage while the guards unlock the doors. Bears in sets of five are linked together by a chain and then made to walk a path. This system is a much better move since, before, they were not divided into groups, and it was just a long and strenuous line. Some choose not to follow suit and beg; not only does the underperforming prisoner get shocked, they all do.
A drill rings out with two guards side by side by the reinforced steel doors; on the left is a sign reading ‘Recruitment Ward’. The rows of five slowly walked down the hall; the only sound that filled the dark, distant hall was the sound of chains rattling and clanking as the captives moved.
