Chapter 1: The Other World
This story begins in 2033, where the world has changed very much, revolving a boy named Nae Po. Nae is very different from others as he started walking and speaking at the age of 1 year and 2 months.
One day my friends and I decided to visit a library. While reading the new book of Skull Pictures, I suddenly heard strange noises coming from the storeroom. I told this to my friends, but they were unable to listen these noises. Curious, I decided to check it out myself.
As I entered the storeroom I noticed a mysterious portal. After hesitating for a moment, I closed my eyes and stepped inside.
When I opened my eyes, I found myself lying in a house of an unusual village. Unlike other villages, this village had red dirt and as far as I could see, there was lava flowing everywhere instead of rivers. Confused, I looked around until the house owner approached me.
Before I asked something, he started,” Only few people from the other world are capable of reaching this world. This world is inhabited by countless monsters of different kinds. Only monsters know the way to get out of here. Anyone who comes here is granted the opportunity to choose one special power to help them survive. Everyone gets 3 powers to choose one from there and the powers differ person to person.”
Just then a floating screen appeared in front of me displaying of the name of the three abilities (Teleportation, Invisibility, Lava and Fire Control). Without further thinking, I decided to choose the ability to Teleport. But, before I could confirm my choice, someone accidently crashed into me. As a result, the ability to control lava and fire was selected.
Disappointed, but can’t do anything, I accepted it. I started practicing and mastering my power and continued it for 2 months. In between, the person who helped me, asked that what power did I choose to me. Just then, when I told him my ability, he got shocked and confused and so was I, as he told me that only monster and mutants possessed the power of controlling lava and fire.
Some days later, a terrifying monster appeared in the village. The monster was as huge as a three-story building. When he was about to destroy the village, I attacked him with some lava. As he saw me, it seemed as if he sensed something unusual inside me. Then he picked me up and jumped into the lava lake.
