Finding a better solution

Lexi’s diary entry 1
Our town is special; the reason is that we, as a family, stick together even through the most frightful situations. If we turned our eyes away from the ones that have risked their lives, not just for their queen but also their kids, we would be no better than the twisted, heartless beast on the other side of the waters.
Each day, Lacy and I find another survivor just in time; it feels great to help, but now locations we go to are starting to get out of control, and materials and ammunition are sadly running out. If we can find a new area, I can gather more supplies and we won’t be so low on protection.
Now, the reason why my plan to move away from Spring Elk is stuck on pause is because of Lacy finding it difficult to let go. I’ve never held back anything; I’ve always been open and clear with Lacy. Maybe tomorrow I will be strong enough to persuade her that Spring Elk is not a safe place now and that the gas is soon to engulf everything. I hope Lacy agrees with me
Time is not on our side.
