Sunday mornings were supposed to be for relaxing but mine was hectic
“ Mei “ aunt Yue shouted from the kitchen

She said and with a deep sign I slowly fell off the three inch worn out bed landing comfortably on the cold tiles , my hair covering my face
I hastily stood up as I opened the window the sun rays shining brightly on my face
“ You're it “ I heard a child said I looked down the window a faint smile displaying on my lips
When I heard my door creaked
“ You're up “ aunt Yue said dropping the glass of hot cocoa on the table beside my bed
“ Good morning aunt “
I said
“ Good morning sweet heart, how was your night”
She replied helping me to arrange my bed
My eyes scanned the room watching her every move
I wanted to tell her so badly but I couldn't find the words
“ Mei “ aunt saod driving me out of my thoughts

“ Nothing” I lied bending my head , my toes drawing invisible lines on the tiles
Aunt raised my head up starring directly into my eyes

With a deep sigh I finally opened up
“ I would like to have a job “
I said my favorite fingers crossed behind my back my eyes closed
Aunt didn't say a word she just backed off, turning about to leave
I knew she wouldn't agree , she would never agree but this time u thought maybe she would
“ How many times do I have to tell you , I am enough to provide for you “ she said her hands on the wooden door knob

“ But what Mei , all this year's I have been the one protecting and providing for you , have I ever complained”
“ The world is wicked Mei “ she finally said and slammed the door behind her
“ Freshen up and come out for breakfast “
She yelled from the hall way
After freshening up I wore a yellow crop top and a black joggers
I packed my hair into a messy bun and went out

After breakfast I carried the plates to the kitchen and started washing them
Aunt came down fully dressed in a blue long body hugged dress , she was 39 bit looked 20 , her big hips kept pushing the dress up
All our family lineage has wide hips , my mom , aunt and me which I hate cause it makes men lust after me one of the reasons aunt don't like me coming out
“ Mei am off don't forget to do the laundry and mop the floors “
“I may be back late , since it's a contract “
She said and turned
I muttered an ok
“ Mei is not that I don't want you working, the world is wicked, I have already lost a sister I don't want to loose a niece “

She opened the front door “ dont forget to mop and do the laundry”
What's the last thing I heard before the door was slammed
I went into action I played a music from my phone kept it on the couch , and started mopping
