PROLOGUE

I never imagined that endings could feel this confusing. It feels as if I am trapped in a barely lit room where a single firefly flickers in the dark, offering me a fragile sense of hope only to take it away the next moment. That small glow comforts me yet also fills me with fear, as if I am constantly waiting for the moment it disappears and leaves me in complete darkness.

I am afraid of losing this flicker of hope, yet I remain helpless, unable to rewrite what destiny has already written. Sometimes what we hold is never truly ours to keep, and destiny always finds a way to take it back. I am left uncertain, was this loss meant to build me or break me?

And so I remain in that dark room, watching the firefly’s light slowly fade with time, still hoping it will survive. How foolish of me to hold on like this.
