Kenny stretched lazily on his bed and smiled at his phone.
"Good morning, my queen. I hope you dreamt about me all night. I miss your smile already."
He intended to send the message to his cousin as a joke, but instead, it landed in a stranger's inbox.
A few minutes later, his phone buzzed.
Unknown Number: Excuse me? Who is this?
Kenny frowned.
Kenny: Wait... you're not my queen?
Unknown Number: Obviously not.
Kenny: Then where is my queen?
There was a long pause.
Unknown Number: Maybe she's hiding from you.
Kenny laughed.
Kenny: You sound funny. What's your name?
Unknown Number: Why should I tell you?
Kenny: Because we're already in a relationship.
Unknown Number: WHAT?!
Kenny: You replied to my message. Too late to escape now.
The stranger sent three angry emojis.
Kenny laughed so hard he nearly dropped his phone.
Little did he know that the stubborn girl on the other side of the screen would soon become the most important person in his life.
