Chapter 1 my father
Lawyer and crook
Chapter one my father
Welcome to the kingdom of David Black. It is my kingdom. I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is David Black, the most famous and powerful lawman in England. I am a very brilliant lawyer. Everyone talks about me. Everyone here is amazed and admired by me. In fact, not everyone, but the elite of society, or the elite of thieves and outlaws who always need a lawyer like me or a devil like me who is able to subvert the facts and turn truth into falsehood and falsehood into truth.
In fact, I was not tempted by studying law. I was never thinking about entering law school. I was passionate about and loved music, and my lifelong dream was to be a pianist or a member of a famous musical band. But fate wanted me to move away from studying music, leave the college of arts, and go out of love for revenge and the hope of restoring the rights that were stolen from us, from my family, and caused the tragic death of my father.
Yes, I loved music and playing the piano. I loved listening to music and feeling my soul flying in the sky while I was sitting in my room playing wonderful pieces of music, but the winds come in ways that ships do not desire.
I was a student at the College of Fine Arts. I belonged to a small, happy family, a rich family. My father owned a large company and a huge cement production factory along with his lifelong friend, Mr. Jathi Green, who had been working with him for more than twenty years. My father and his friend worked hard until the company and factory became a huge economic entity here in London. Not only that, but the two of them dreamed of establishing a huge cement factory in the country.
However, my father suffered from heart disease as a result of extreme stress, staying up late, and drinking alcohol..,,, He became ill and was blindly trusting his old friend, Jathy Green.
A year after my father fell ill, and after my father and his partner, Mr. Gathi Green, put millions in the stock market so that they could establish the cement factory after achieving sufficient profits, my father lost and the company lost millions on the stock market. Life in the happy home turned into a nightmare after the banks seized my father’s property, and after Mr. Gathi Green submitted papers stating that he had purchased the entire factory from my father. My father could not bear the shock. He died immediately, and my mother, Maggie Dallas, was left suffering from humiliation and bitterness.
Yes, it was a nightmare. My father died in moments, and my mother, who was not yet fifty years old, grew up after fifty, and it was only a few months ago that my mother was forced to sell the villa and some property in order to pay the bank dues and so that she could spend on me and my sister Sarah. My mother tried to appear strong and coherent, but the shock was greater than some could imagine and greater than many could bear.
I was in severe shock and felt helpless. I wanted to do something, but what could I do? I went with my mother to the law offices, but there was nothing new. It seemed that Mr. Gathy Green took advantage of my father’s illness and took advantage of my father’s strong trust in him, and his papers were intact and impeccable. These words were the last things said by lawyer Tommy Pure. These were the words that struck my mother with shock and despair. That night, my mother would not stop crying in her room. In the small house we lived in after selling the villa on the outskirts of London. I could hear my mother crying, but I could not do anything.
My mother held herself together a little, but I was weaker than her and more sad for her and for my sister Sarah. My mother pressured me to go to university after a break. I did not stop thinking about how this was happening and where the law was. One day, on my way to the university, which I hated and I hated music, I found myself entering the Faculty of Law, which was a little far from the Faculty of Arts.
When I entered the Faculty of Law, I stood in front of a large painting with very strong phrases on it
⚖️ Justice is the foundation of every civilized society.
"Justice delayed is not justice denied, as long as truth continues its journey toward the light."
"Rights may be challenged, but they can never be extinguished by time."
"The law exists to protect rights, not to suppress them."
"Truth needs no ornament; evidence is its strongest voice."
"No power is greater than the power of truth."
"Justice is the living conscience of the law."
"The rule of law stands above influence, favor, and personal interest."
"A right supported by truth and evidence will ultimately prevail."
"Equality before the law is the cornerstone of justice."
"The voice of truth may be quiet, but it can never be silenced."
"A nation is measured not by the strength of its armies, but by the fairness of its justice."
"The law commands respect when it serves justice without fear or favor."
"Falsehood may rise for a moment, but truth endures forever."
"Justice is not a privilege granted by authority; it is a right owed to every individual."
I thought to myself, how can the lawyers appointed by my mother be unable to prove the truth? I decided not to return to the College of Arts. I decided to be someone else.
