Author’s note: I’ve carried this story with me for almost a decade, and writing it has honestly taken me into completely uncharted territory.
To give you a quick mental picture before you dive in: the world of To Weave a Bleeding Border is heavily inspired by the rich heritage of pre-colonial Philippines, mixed with the rigid structures and textures of Spanish and Chinese influences.
