HOW NOT TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER

All Rights Reserved ©

Summary

Eloise Ashcombe has spent sixteen years proving she is nothing like the daughter everyone expects her to be. She's supposed to smile politely, stay out of trouble, and leave investigations to the adults. Instead, she accidentally shoots a man in the middle of the woods. A man who was supposed to be dead. A man she has never met. A man who somehow knows her name. When the body vanishes before anyone else can find it, Eloise is left with more questions than answers and a growing suspicion that somebody in Wrenwick is lying. Possibly everyone. With her best friend Imogen Fairchild swearing creatively at every obstacle, Clara Finch uncovering secrets she'd rather not know, August Sterling refusing to stay out of danger, and Edmund Crowe treating every disaster like a personal hobby, Eloise finds herself dragged into a mystery buried deep beneath the town's polished streets. Because Wrenwick was built on secrets. The town's founding family vanished without a trace. A missing man has returned from the dead. And somebody is willing to do anything to keep the truth buried. Including murder. As clues begin to connect five families, decades of lies, and a conspiracy stretching far beyond anything they imagined, Eloise and her friends discover that solving the mystery might be the easy part. Surviving it is another matter entirely. After all, getting away with murder is difficult. Discovering who committed it is worse.
