Chapter 1
WHERE I FOUND LIFE
VOLUME 1
Kabir, a shy and stressed engineering student, joins a Himachal trek to escape the pressure of coding labs, exams, and placements, where he meets Meera, a joyful architecture student who loves photography and adventure. As they trek through Grahan and Dev Ropa, they slowly grow close through quiet conversations, shared struggles, waterfalls, bonfires, and nights under the Himalayan stars. Their connection deepens when Kabir gently holds Meera’s hand beneath the Milky Way, making both realize their feelings are becoming something serious.
After returning to Delhi, they fear the mountains were the only reason for their closeness, but their bond grows even stronger through daily texts, cafe dates in Hauz Khas, metro rides, music, photography, and long walks through Lodhi Garden and Humayun’s Tomb. Although they are deeply in love, neither confesses because both are afraid of losing the comfort and emotional safety they have found in each other. Months later, they reunite for a dangerous winter expedition to Spiti Valley, promising to stay beside each other through the freezing cold and harsh terrain.
During the trek, Meera falls seriously ill after a blizzard, and Kabir spends sleepless nights taking care of her by warming her hands, checking her fever, making tea, and protecting her from the freezing mountain nights, silently proving how deeply he loves her. At the highest post office in Hikkim, they secretly write emotional letters confessing everything they were too afraid to say aloud and promise to open them only after returning to Delhi. Back at their favorite cafe in Hauz Khas, they finally read the letters, openly confess their love, and realize their relationship was never just a mountain romance but something real enough to survive ordinary life. Four years later, Kabir becomes a successful software engineer, Meera becomes an archaeologist, and the two happily live together in Delhi, still carrying the memories, letters, and river stone from the mountains where their story first began.
MY SUGGESTIONS :-
The ill of Meera sequence have to be in first trip of Himachal and the Kabir taking care of Meera even they just meet for first time . (Shows Kabir’s love at first sight )
Meera get an offer from an big architect co. For a practical exposure in USA .
This was an very difficult decision for Meera to choose between
TRIP AND STUDY
OR
KABIR AND STUDY
She choose Kabir !!
During the expedition in spiti valley
Whether was too bad
In results from many of them badly injured and some of them lost their lives
Kabir and Meera both too scared but didn’t left each other hand anyhow they have to reach the nearest cam which was approximately 2.6 km away
Their guide call for help , there try giving singals but the climate condition was too dangerous
And suddenly an medium ice block fall just between Kabir and Meera
The surface on which they are standing on cracked and meera slides towards down
Also Kabir almost goes to save Meera but rest team save him
1hr…
2hr…
Kabir still there just having regrets regrets and regrets
All team members gone
Kabir start finding Meera it been 7hr
He continuous finding without break without rest his legs are about to froze the whether conditions goes worst it can be
The authorities believe that both were dead
As per the experts an human can’t survive more than 12 hr in this type of whether
The only medkit , supply etc kabir has to survive that whether was an RING for Meera
16hr…
Climax 🫡
When Meera fell after the ice cracked:
she did NOT fall into a deep endless abyss
she slid into a lower snow trench hidden between ice formations
badly injured
partially trapped
unable to climb out
one leg fractured
slowly freezing
But because of heavy snowfall:
nobody could see her
her voice couldn’t travel upward
rescue teams assumed death
The line of Meera to Kabir before journey
“If I’m ever scared, I’ll keep taking photos.
As long as I can still see beauty, I know I’m alive.”
Kabir is:
hallucinating
exhausted
frostbitten
emotionally destroyed
In total darkness and snowfall…
Kabir suddenly sees:
a faint, tiny flash of light.
Not lightning.
Not rescue teams.
A CAMERA FLASH.
Weak.
Irregular.
Almost dead.
At first he thinks he imagined it. Then again.
Flash.
Meera, trapped below in the snow trench, had conserved her dying camera battery for ONE purpose:
to create light signals.
Not for rescue helicopters.
For Kabir.
Because she knew:
he would keep searching.
Kabir starts digging with bare freezing hands.
Calling her name.
Bleeding.
Panicking.
Finally he see the
EYES OF HER
After pulling her out:
Kabir’s hands are shaking violently from hypothermia.
He genuinely believes:
they may still die there.
So instead of waiting…
He puts the ring on her freezing bleeding hand right there in the snow.
No grand speech.
Just:
“I wasn’t going to leave without you.”
