Summary

A person like me, eating grilled skewers. Yet, I still had to return to that royal court. As soon as I entered, I felt that in this matter, I was the one going against the flow. I climbed through the princess's window. At the reception area, Alewin was also tired, so he only instructed me to fill the hole. With a slightly proud nature, I tossed my head – "What's the worry! I don't like filling holes, the royal family won't say anything." When the royal family arrived, I knelt down, respectfully greeting them, and in that position, I covered the hole. My legs were so tired! Alewin looked at me as if to say, "I'll take on anything!"

Chapter 1:Meeting on leave (part 1)

I leaned against the wall, pacing back and forth impatiently, watching Alewin sit there looking at his ledgers. "Is it any better than that?" I muttered irritably.

I mumbled for a while, and seeing that she didn't react, I snatched her historical battle map to see what Alewin had done.

-Alewin, what took you so long?I thought to myself: what's so great about it anyway?

But all things considered, Alewin did a really good job, with so many letters and symbols. She was probably annoyed and wanted to take it back, but I hadn't finished looking at it yet, so I took it out in my small bag to examine it.

At this point, I finished reading and tossed it onto the small table, as if expressing my annoyance at being left out with a map.

I then said:

Hey, there are only two battles, why is it taking so long? It's like you're surveying the whole world!

I crossed my arms over my chest, showing my displeasure with her. Alewin frowned at me, feigning innocence. I felt like I wanted to break this principled person!

I picked up the map of the two matches on the table, pressed it under my palm, and held it close to Alewin's face. Alewin raised his hand as if to push me away. At that moment, there were footsteps, so I let Alewin go.

Alewin frowned, rearranging the documents, her face serious and disciplined, and spoke in a measured tone:

-Enough, Myra, isn't that enough? Just sit still.

Princess Awitte was greeted by someone who opened the door outside; I bowed in greeting.

Awitte looked at me, then at her younger sister Alewin.

Awitte chuckled, then glanced at me, as if to say, "What does this have to do with me? What does that mean?"

I was angry, and when I heard Awitte greeting Alewin's sister, I was still angry, so I mimicked her.

Suddenly, Awitte asked Alewin, "How far have you gotten?

I mumbled, "That's creepy. He's so highly respected and influential."

Awitte picked it up, frowned, then smiled slightly at Alewin and said...:

-You did very well, but when it comes to ambushes, you might be lacking. Or, how about you team up with Myra? Here, let's discuss the perspective of her attendant; that will help you stand closer to the people.

I didn't care, I just knew I had a chance. I nodded vigorously like a chicken pecking at grain, and gave Awitte a thumbs-up as a compliment.
