CHAPTER 1
A loud bang on my door jolted me awake.
“Randellllll” my sister yelled as she burst into my room and jumped on my bed.
“UGU…. What the hell?” I groaned, pulling a pillow over my face.
“Look, Randell!” she said, shoving my laptop in front of me.
“What now?” I muttered, squinting through sleepy eyes.
“You got it!”
“What?”
I sat upright and snatched the laptop from her hands.
“I got what?”
“The admission, genius!”
My eyes raced across the screen. For a moment, I couldn’t breathe.
“No way…….”
Then it hit me.
“Oh my God. This is real. I actually got in”
“I know!” she squealed. “You resume next week Monday, so we’ve got a lot to do. Shopping, packing, everything.”
I was still staring at the screen when she added, “And I already requested to join the school group for, so you miss any important information.”
I looked up at her and smiled.
“Thank you”
She grinned and headed for the door.
“What would you do without me?”
“Probably sleep a little longer.”
She laughed.
“Take your bath and come downstairs for breakfast. We’ve got a busy week ahead.”
As soon as my sister closed the door behind her, I jumped up excitedly, this was not actually my dream but I just wanted to leave home so I won’t become a topic of how I couldn’t join my mates to gain admission.
I hurriedly went into the bathroom to take my bath, then I rushed out, put on something simple and went downstairs for breakfast.
