Summary

When a social outcast would be going to college not only does she deal with a bully but she also falls in love. Anna Soccers is a punk rocker and college student who is not just gifted in art but apparently math and physics too. Though she had to deal with enough trauma to do one soldier (she was bullied in grade 8) and then she falls in love with her math/psychic professor Ilja Dimitrova who is a Chechen- American professor who is mysteriously and cute. But he is darkly (like vampire) handsome and he is a brilliant but tortured mind. This is not just a romance novel but an allegory about what bullying and other trauma will do to someone’s spirit.
