The dark file
The sun had risen, shining hopelessly through the small clouds, spreading its dawn light around with tenderness.Luna Lightwood, the head of an ordinary police station, found new criminals and sent them to jail. This was normal for her. But it was a special day; Luna, who usually had no friends, had a close friend. Luna left her office early, and thanks to her friend Olivia's insistence, they had gone to an art exhibition. Olivia:
-"hey...girl look they are so meaningful"....-she said, and quietly approached the painting to examine it more closely.
-"Believe me, a lawyer's interest in art seems extremely strange," Luna said mockingly.Olivia:
-"Shut up...what do you know?" she said and nudged her.she saw someone:
-"Look! That's Leonardo Volcayrx Leopold! He has artwork too! He's giving autographs...come on, hurry to the line!"—she said, pulling Luna along. The line was long, it seemed like it would never end.But then Olivia spotted her crush and wanted to approach him, softly calling out to her bestie:
-"Luna...you're my best friend...you know that...I saw mine, look over there...could you get an autograph for me...please, please...I'll buy you a coffee."-Without letting her say anything, she gave her the photo and left immediately, the line got shorter...then it was Luna's turn.
-"What should I write?" – a deep but haughty voice was heard. Leo looked up; oh my God, his handsomeness was evident in his face, he was like a Greek god. Luna came to her senses and silently handed him the photograph to sign. Leo felt himself lost in her blue eyes, but he signed it with a slight smile.
-"I think you're one of my biggest fans, but this is the first time I've seen you,"- he said, signing the photo.
-"Uh...no...I'm not a fan of yours, I came with my friend...I came to ask for your autograph in her place, and besides, art isn't really my thing, artists are usually arrogant..." said Luna indifferently and took the photo.
-"Are you saying I'm arrogant?" -he said sarcastically.
-"You're right. Actually, you're quite arrogant; you'd better not mess with a policeman," -Luna said calmly and coldly.
-"I have no intention of dealing with an art-hating cop anyway." -Leo said nonchalantly, and signed another fan's photo.Luna quickly slipped away without anyone noticing, went to Olivia, and gave her the photograph. Olivia happily took it, but it had a signature and a message on it: "One wants to drown in her sea-blue eyes, but one wants to die in her words."Those words were definitely written for Luna, Olivia understood that and turned to her with a smile.Olivia:
-"He wrote this for you! This is so sweet..."-she said with softly
-"Is she sweet? Not at all... she's arrogant and just like my old literature teacher...stupid.."-when she say suddenly Leo winked as he walked past her.
-"Thanks for introducing yourself to me, I thought you weren't stupid... damn...okay byeee...."-he went.Olivia had gone mad, in a good way...but we can't say the same for Luna, because:
-"This guy is egotistical! At least I don't let my arrogance interfere with my work like you do...He should have been thrown in jail...ugh...whatever"-she saying angryly
-"omg....AAAA...so cuteeee!!!!"-Olivia said.
-"uhhh...shut up!...damn...i am going...."-Luna went to home..
It was evening, and she sat at home, but secretly thought about Leo on the balcony. The clouds were almost gone, the moonlight filled the surroundings, and Luna decided to go to sleep to forget these thoughts. The morning had just begun when this beautiful day was interrupted by a call. Luna answered, it was Dedective Ronald calling.
-"sir...Bill Frederick, a renowned philanthropist and owner of a design company, has been murdered...come quickly!"-he said and closed the phone.Scandals followed one another at the police station. Luna arrived immediately; prosecutors and lawyers were present, investigations were underway. Luna made a smart choice and went to the building where he was murdered. In fact, the place where he was murdered was the old, burned-down orphanage. The investigations continued, but the result was zero.
Leo was sitting at home, his father was watching the news, he was the district attorney, when suddenly he saw the news of Bill Frederick's death. Leo looked... he hated it, because he knew he was a liar, his father had taken bribes to hide certain things from him.His father James was supposed to go to the scene, but Leo stopped him.
-"Dad...let me come too...I want to see how that disgusting man dies, you know I studied to become a prosecutor."-he said
-"no!...i can't...i promised u'r mom...You will never see that man."-James said
-"Father...stop...he burned down my old house, the orphanage! No matter how much I don't want to, I have to tell him I'm adopted. I'll only see him once, and that will be the last time...please..."-Leo said and weared his shoes
-"okay...but don't approach him..."-he said and put car's key
They went to the scene, it was chaotic, but Leo looked around, the old orphanage...it had burned before his eyes, now it stood there, but in pain...then he saw a black bag, there was a body...it was definitely Sir Bill's body, he approached...approached, suddenly he heard a sound
-"What are you doing here...."
Leo turned with calmly and saw her...Police Luna...
-"....arrogant painter?..."-Luna contiuned her words...The words between them were icy, but Leo was determined to remain calm and composed...the silence was replaced only by their constantly staring eyes.
