Chapter 1: Trembling Hands, Unshakable Faith"

Outside, a biting, merciless winter wind was howling. In the freezing depth of that December night, the cold seeped into the house through the cracks in the walls. It was a tiny room, where an old, torn mat was spread across the bare floor.

Zainab had wrapped both her children—Ayan and Noor—in a single, thin, tattered blanket. The children were shivering violently from the cold, their lips turning blue. Crying softly, Noor looked at her mother and said, "Ammi, it’s so cold, my feet are freezing." Zainab had no warm clothes left to give them. Hiding her tears, she desperately rubbed their tiny feet with her bare hands, trying to breathe some warmth into them.

At that very moment, Rehmat stepped inside the house. His hands were completely numb from the biting cold. Despite searching for labor all day long, he hadn't earned a single rupee. He had returned home empty-handed. Seeing his children shivering and starving, a father's heart bled in silent agony.

Overwhelmed with shame, Rehmat lowered his gaze. Looking into his pain-filled eyes, Zainab understood everything. She didn't utter a single complaint; instead, she gently held his trembling hands and said, "Please do not lose hope. Khuda is watching everything."

Late that night, when the children finally drifted to sleep, curling up against the bitter cold, Rehmat spread his prayer mat (janamaz) in a quiet corner of the room. He had no proper food, no warm clothes, and not even a secure roof over his head. His tears rained down onto the prayer mat, yet there was no resentment on his face. Raising his trembling hands, weeping yet managing a faint smile, he prayed:

"Ya Allah! It is freezing outside, and my children do not even have warm clothes to wear. I am a weak father, and I cannot bear to see them in such pain. But You are Al-Razzaq (The Provider), You know everything. My grievance is not with my poverty; my absolute faith rests entirely on Your decree and Your mercy. I know You will surely find a way for my children tomorrow
