Yuki Oni: The Apprentice Witch of Winter and Snow

Prologue

it was night time in the divine realm when The Goddess of Ice and Snow, Shirayuki was preparing her BL 5.5 field artillery for cleaning as a messenger dove flew on to her shoulder after she grabbed the barrel swab. She untied the letter and began to read it out loud to herself “the head of the counsel demands your presence at once, get your butt to headquarters at once!”

She closed the letter and puts down the swab then said “I hope this isn’t about me shooting this at night time, he forbid me from shooting it during the day. go back to him and notify him that I'm on my way.”

The bird flew away and Shirayuki held her hand at the field gun, putting it away in her storage spell along with the ammunition before heading inside of her house and grabbed her white coat before heading out to headquarters. ten minutes have passed and a cold wind entered the room as the door to the heads office and Shirayuki walks in. The deity puts on his coat and said “Ah, Shirayuki you’re here.” She sat down in a seat across his desk before asking, “What’s the trouble?”

He stomped his foot and said “It’s your darn teacher, that’s the problem! *sigh* no, not the trouble that i called you here for.”

Shirayuki smiled and said “Well to be fair, Iblis has always been a hot mess. She’s a source of direct trouble. but she resigned her status from being a deity here and moved into the middle, so she’s their problem now.”

The deity sat down in his wooden chair and said, “You’re right, and you know her better than anyone.” but the reason I called you here is a similar case to the one she’s currently been assigned to, and I regret having to do it but it’s got to get done."

She let out a slight chuckle and said, “I thought I was in trouble. don’t get me wrong chief, I’m on nobody’s side. Iblis made her choice, if you need me to do something similar, then so be it. but I’m not doing it because of her, I’m doing it because where fire doesn’t burn, ice and snow takes its place. in other words, I’m doing this for myself.” The chief smiled and said “It’s no wonder your inner circle so small, you’re really cold.”

Shirayuki formed an icicle in her hand then said, The blue flame burns with the least heat, what do you need me to do and why did you interrupt me while I was doing maintenance on my field gun?"

He stood up and said I need you to head to the chapel to reincarnate. There is a world soon to be plagued by winter. it was recently redeveloped and saved by another reincarnated soul, I cannot tell you the details about them except that they are extremely powerful and also use modern military tech, but not like you."

Shirayuki dissolved the icicle and asks “why do you need me to go? Somethings wrong here in the divine realm, isn’t there?” He did not give her a clear answer but instead, he says, “an imbalance between the divine realm and Hell has initiated, if you succeed in your mission, and Iblis in hers, then it will stop and all will be saved.”

Shirayuki sighed as she stood up and grabbed the doorknob, she said “I expect my master to be forgiven completely. She saw this coming. I just want my time to myself after this.” The chief did not reply as she closed the door behind her, leaving a freezing whisper in the room as she left."

In Iblis’s world she was just finishing off a kaiju with Luna and Mio when her senses kicked in and she quickly looked up. Luna asks her “What’s wrong master?” Iblis mutters to herself “Those fools got her involved in this.” Mio asks “Is something wrong Iblis? She sighed and said “It’s nothing, let’s go turn in our bounty.”

Back in the divine realms chapel, Shirayuki walked into the reincarnation circle prepared for her and said “Let’s go!” The mages surrounding the circle activated it and she fell to the ground and her soul transcended realms.
