CHAPTER 1(NEW BEGINNING)
Jemi's pov
16 June 2019, today I am going to start a new life. Me, my parents and my friends are all excited about it. This year I am going to enter on the 8th standard and from today I am going to attend the tuition classes.
I am so excited but as per we know the coin has 2 different sides just like that my life also is like a coin. On one side there is excitement but on the other side there is social anxiety and so much fear. For me this is the first time going out in this world. I don't even know how to properly talk with people.
But life doesn't stop for anyone . So I have to face it anyway.
In the morning at 8 am.
( Muku from the road calling my name on her bicycle)
Muku: jemi, jemiiiiiii
I arrived on the main road while riding my bicycle.
" Hello!! , muku good morning."
Muku: good morning jemi. So excited for the first day of tuition??
I replied with happiness on my face but fear inside my soul.
Then we both reach Anshi's house.
Muku: Anshi, Anshi......
Anshi comes with her bicycle.( She is a friend of muku.)
Muku : jemi, this is anshi my childhood friend. And anshi this is jemi my friend or can say she is the naybour of my aunt.
Anshi: ( with joy and confidence) hello, jemi. I am anshi.
I replied with joy. I'm jemi.
Actually at first I found her very confident and cool. Also she has worn very good clothes. And as usual I replied with my low confidential voice. And like always I ended up being awkward.
While riding our bicycles,
Anshi: what was your grade in school??
'2nd' I replied.
Anshi: Wow that's great!! Mine was 5th.
After hearing this I'm like we are equal in studying. So from now on I will talk with her in full confidence.
Anshi: what is your school's name??
Actually my school is very small and also situated in the rural area. So less people know about it. So definitely she also doesn't know about it. Though I told her my school name.
Anshi: what is your school's name?? Is there any school of this name that exists in our city?? And yes so where is it?? I haven't seen it.
And on the other side muku and anshi both study in the same school and their school is very big and also well known in society. After hearing this my all the confidence just died at that moment.
After this much conversation we reach our tuition classes.
As we reach my little heart starts beating fast. And I enclose with anxiety.
Since our classes are on the 3rd floor we reach there. There is a girl with a big smile on her face. And her hair is tied by rebbon.
"Hello hari , after a long week!" Greeting muku.
" Yaaa, after a long time hari. Where were you all the time ??" Asked anshi with her high voice.
Hari replied with joy " I was busy in my singing classes."
Muku introduces me to her and her to me.
"Hello jemi, I am Hari" she greets me with her soft voice in full positivity and with a broad smile.
"Hello hari" I also greeted her with a smile on my face.
( Actually I can sense people's behaviour towards other people by their tone of speech. And find that hari is more humble and friendly than anshi. And also I am amazed to know that she goes to singing classes.)
After 8:15 am we sit in the classroom. Muku and anshi sit together on the first bench and I and hari sit on the second bench. There are so many students around me. They all look like they go to well known schools. And also they all are looking from a rich family.
(My heart again starts beating fast cause I am sitting on the second bench. And I don't know how to answer if the teacher asks any questions.)
The teacher enters the classroom and greets everyone good morning.
After he asks everyone's name.
So our first class is math class.
"How many students have got more than 70% marks in math??" Teacher asks.
So many students raise their hands. I look around and slowly raise my hand.
After this the teacher asks everyone their school name.
Again I tell him my school's name with my low voice.
I thought that he also didn't know about my school but...
"Ohhh... This school is in a rural area. I know." The teacher replied with a smile.
After hearing this i get good relief. I am like "haaasss" thank God the teacher knows about my school.
After the class at 10:00 am muku, anshi, hari and I we all are going home while riding our bicycles and talking.
As per I thought that it will be going to be difficult for me . Yaa that's difficult but not as much as I expected. So on the first day of my 8th standard and on my tuition i survived.
