All Rights Reserved ©

Summary

A silent smile on a school road was all it took for Jazlyn Clara to fall in love with Aldo Martin. What began as a hidden schoolgirl crush slowly blossomed into an unexpected friendship during their college years. Through football matches, choir practices, music, laughter, and unwavering faith, their friendship grew into a love they never imagined. But just as their future seemed certain, life pulled them apart. Burdened by family responsibilities and determined to secure her younger brother's future, Jazlyn made the heartbreaking decision to end their relationship. Aldo, unaware of the sacrifices she carried, believed she had simply walked away from him. Five years passed. Both carried the same love—but different truths. When fate reunited them in the most unexpected place—the very church where Aldo now served—they were forced to confront the misunderstandings that had changed their lives. As hidden sacrifices came to light and old wounds began to heal, they discovered that true love is not measured by time apart, but by the willingness to forgive, understand, and begin again. Filled with faith, music, family, sacrifice, healing, and second chances, this is the story of two hearts that never truly stopped loving each other. Because sometimes, the most beautiful love stories are not written by us... They are written by God.

Chapter 1: The first melody

Chapter 1 – The First Melody

The Christmas season had filled St. Luke's School with excitement.

Students were busy preparing for the annual Christmas celebration. Choir practices echoed through the corridors, decorations covered every classroom, and the sound of musical instruments could be heard from the auditorium.

Among the students was Jazlyn clara, a quiet ninth-grade girl who loved singing.

One afternoon, while walking past the auditorium, she heard the gentle sound of a keyboard.

Curious, she stepped inside.

A boy from Class Eleven was sitting behind the keyboard.

His fingers moved gracefully across the keys as he played.

The entire hall fell silent.

Jazlyn had never heard someone play with such beauty.

As the music came to an end, the boy slowly looked up.

For a brief second...

Their eyes met.

Neither of them smiled.

Neither of them spoke.

Yet something about that moment remained in Jazlyn's heart.

She quietly asked one of her friends,

"Who is he?"

"That's Benedict," her friend replied.

From that day on...

Whenever she saw Benedict walking through the school corridors or carrying his keyboard for practice, she couldn't help but glance at him.

They rarely looked at each other.

They never exchanged a single word.

Still...

A small hope quietly grew inside her heart.

"Maybe..."

"One day..."

"We'll talk."

She never imagined that hope would remain only a dream.

Months passed.

Then another year

Benedict graduated from school.

Jazlyn watched him leave through the school gates for the last time.

Without a goodbye.

Without even knowing she had admired him from afar.

After completing her tenth-board examinations, Jazlyn returned to school for higher secondary.

She tried to move on.

But every time she stepped outside her home...

Her eyes searched the streets.

Sometimes...

From a distance...

She would catch a glimpse of Benedict

He never noticed her.

And she never had the courage to call his name.

Her first love remained nothing more than a beautiful memory.

Little did she know...

God was quietly preparing someone else to enter her life.

Someone whose story would one day become deeply intertwined with her own.
