Chapter One "Carlos Born"

In 1997, in Colima, Mexico, a boy named Carlos was born. His mother, Lela, was a single mother. At a very young age, she had been engaged to a local Mafia Boss, and they were deeply in love. By the age of twenty, she became pregnant with the child of the Mafia Boss.

But everything changed. A notorious syndicate known as the "Cartel" entered the city. They were the most powerful mob in the region, consisting of ruthless, armed men. The weapons they carried were top-tier military gear. They invaded the city in armored jeeps equipped with machine guns, boasting an army of 30,000 men.

As soon as the local Mafia received intelligence of the invasion, they prepared for war.

However, the local Mafia was weak in both numbers and weapons. But that didn't stop them. They turned their city, Colima, into a battlefield with just 10,000 men. The local mafia set traps everywhere. The police couldn't get involved due to the corrupt government.

On August 20, 1996, the Cartel attacked the city's strategic strongholds. But the local Mafia was ready to defend. They laid traps in every single alleyway. They used Molotov cocktails in the narrow streets, burning many of the Cartel soldiers alive and killing 5,000 members of the Cartel.

Day and night, the conflict kept going. You could hear nothing but the constant exchange of gunfire. People were dying, and the city turned red with the blood of both mobs.

The Cartel was in a state of shock and terror because they were being ambushed from everywhere. They had come to rule the city, but they never expected such a massive loss. In just five days, they had already lost 15,000 men. Driven by desperation, they decided to locate the local Mafia Boss and kill him.

There is always one person whom we trust the most, only to be betrayed by them. On June 5, 1997, the famous local Mafia Boss was assassinated by a traitor. With his death, the war that had started on August 20, 1996, was finally over.

The Cartel took complete control of the city. One month later, inside a Cartel prison, on July 10, 1997, the son of the legendary Mafia Boss was born.

His name was Carlos.
