Introduction
I used to love baseball as a kid and even went so far as to collect cards. But grew out of it as an adult. But I still love the game. And I knew that at some point I had to write a baseball romance. I am not really going by any type of outline for this, and it will be a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants kind of story. I will never know what each chapter will bring.
So, I hope you enjoy it, as I know I will enjoy writing it. Please meet the cast of Home Run.
These two could make beautiful babies.

Savannah Acosta- She’s a Cuban-American woman who loves having a good time, working as both bartender and manager at The Dug Out. The place is a family-owned spot she runs alongside her father, three-time World Series champion Martin Acosta. It’s a lively, baseball-themed club known for its incredible live bands and the kind of fun that keeps people coming back. The walls are covered in baseball memorabilia, with photos and mementos of past and current players lining every inch. She is bubbly and fun, but a little hard to get to know. But worth it.

Oliver Zhao, better known as Ollie, is an Asian American, all-American baseball player celebrated for his lightning speed and remarkable agility, making him a master at stopping most runs to first base. An All-Star with a rise to fame that's been anything but smooth—you know the kind of story—he’s faced his share of bumps along the way. But his quick wit and fun-loving personality have made him a favorite among fans, a charmer with the so-called ball bunnies, and a darling of the media.
But with all the background noise of ball bunnies and rumors, he's transfixed by the fan who caught his ball.

Isabel Holland (Izzy)- The friend every girl needs. She's dependable and fun. She will literally go to bat for her best friend Savannah. Co-worker and best friend to Savannah.

Lester Alda (Les) The best friend to Ollie. He's a romantic at heart. He will enlist Izzy to get Ollie and Savannah together while also opening himself up for something with Izzy.
When Ollie Zhao dashed to intercept a fan who had caught a play, he never expected his entire world to be turned upside down. One glance at Savannah Acosta, and Ollie was instantly love-struck. He wasn’t even upset that she had snatched the ball, keeping it fair and allowing the runner to advance a base. In a bold move, she handed him a marker and the ball, insinuating that he sign it for her. And although he still had a game to win, he signed it before giving it back to her. As the two found themselves unable to look away from each other, cameras captured every moment, and the media erupted with fascination. Social media exploded with rumors and speculation, as fans became deeply invested in how this serendipitous encounter would unfold. Determined to find the captivating mystery woman, Ollie enlisted the help of both the media and his growing online following—and they delivered. Witness how the power of social media becomes the driving force in their unforgettable forever story.
