Chapter 1
It was hot and middle of the summer I was sunbathing in my bikini that my dad hated me to do as it was too revealing. It was late afternoon and my dad loved having a Bbq on the weekends, he loved making his famous sticky bourbon ribs that was slow roasted on the BBQ he loved organising it.
We lived in a nice house in the countryside no neighbours just fields and wildlife. I loved watching the deer outside the back of our house huddled around each other, grazing, majestically galloping when they hear a noise, I am lucky to live here my dad worked hard all his life he worked hard to look after me and my mum.
Dad put his music stereo on he was singing along to Meatloaf the song was like a bat out of hell. It was one of his favourites. He was sorting out the tables and making sure everything was perfect for him and his best friend John along with some of mums best friends too.
I'm not one to sit there with my mum and dad's friends so I just go to my room or go out to see my best friend Abby. But not tonight my mum wouldn't shut up and said I should be there because her friends son who my age is going to be there.
Fucking great, just because I haven't had a boyfriend in ages doesn't mean my mum should play cupid. She pisses me off when she thinks I should have a boyfriend.
My mum who's called Susan very outgoing always in your face, very social person and wants to be better than her friends all the time. Always right when your wrong kind of person, she drives me and my dad crazy but my dad adores her and he's very protective of me.
It was time of the BBQ everyone has turned up and I was in my room in a short revealing black dress just wanting to hide and run.
Loud knock on the door.
Made Ellie jump.
Her mum Susan was at the door very excited about tonight and wanting her daughter downstairs right now.
"Ellie come on, everyone's here and waiting for you and want to see you!"
Ellie opened up the door slowly and saw her mum all dressed up and covered in make up ready to show off her home and now show off her daughter to a boy she wasn't interested in.
"Great can't wait........ Mum please don't embarrass me... I don't need a boyfriend!".
Susan looked at her daughter and smiled and grabbed a strand of hair from her face. She grabbed Ellie by the arm and headed out to the garden.
"Honestly darling your going to enjoy yourself..... He's very handsome too, same age, very tall..."
Ellie pulled her arm away and looked at herself in the mirror one last time. She was beautiful, she knew that and she's had many boyfriends in the past but not what she wanted she wanted a man not a boy.
" Mum please I fucking hate this"
Susan turned to her daughter with a stern face and made Ellie feel 6 again.
"Now don't you swear in front of me I know your a adult now but not in front of me and your dad..... Now I'll see you in the garden and also bring the prosecco with you too darling"
