It’s been a month. Every student in the Magic Academy had graduated and moved on to college.

All of the members of the group agreed on one thing — live in the same place.

But it was never easy. Some agreed, some considered it, and...

Back to their meeting:

Kenji was the one who planned the meeting.

They all gathered in their agreed place — the abandoned park just near the new city.

"So... What exactly is this for?"

Matthew asked, curious.

Kenji smirked and proudly said,

"Me and Gan decided we’re all living together!"

Gan smacked his head.

"I never agreed."

He said flatly.

Everyone looked at Kenji like he was some kind of creep.

Kenji’s face fell at their stare, thinking it didn’t work.

After a moment, everyone agreed in a cheer.

"Hell yeah! I get to be with Katsuya!"

Kishima proudly said.

Hangetsu pouted up at Katsuya after what Kishima said.

Katsuya laughed and shook his head.

"He’s just joking."

Karin smirked at Katsuya.

"Oh? Someone is jealous?"

She teased.

Hangetsu blushed and turned away from them.

Yuki chuckled at them cutely.

Kenji let out a strangled scoff and collapsed on the ground again after hearing Yuki’s laugh.

Gan laughed and stomped on his head.

"Idiot."

After a while, Matthew cleared his throat.

"I can’t do that."

He said, no drama, no excitement, just straight-up flat words.

Everyone looked at him before Senju spoke up.

"What?? It’ll be fun! Besides, I can’t come if you don’t."

Matthew shook his head and said,

"No. You can go, but I won’t come."

Senju slumped in defeat.

Katsuya stepped in and asked,

"Is there a reason why you don’t want to come?"

Matthew looked away before looking back at them with a nod.

Gan sighed and shook his head.

"Look, we get it. You betrayed us back then, almost ended all of us."

He said before adding,

"I hate to admit it, but if not for you, we couldn’t end the fight against Sarah last time. Besides, you’ve already proven yourself."

Matthew scoffed and shook his head.

"Not that reason."

Kenji looked at him from the ground.

"So it’s one of the reasons why?"

Matthew nodded and said,

"Yes but... I won’t be able to go to the graveyard anymore if I live with all of you."

Karin’s eyes widened at his words. She knew exactly what and who he was talking about.

She sighed with a small smirk.

"I see... You miss her too, huh...?"

Matthew’s eyes widened slightly and looked at Karin. He remembered just now that Karin was... Kari’s best friend...

Kishima sighed at their drama and said,

"You don’t need to live permanently with us. But if you need to, we’ll tell you the location."

Katsuya and the others nodded in agreement.

Matthew looked at him and considered for a moment before nodding.

"Tell me."

Miyu stepped in and said,

"It’s near the Past Home city, near the bridge. You just cross and enter Merly Street. The house is in the first right path you see. It’s not big, but not small either."

Matthew’s eyes widened at the information. That’s near where he visits the graveyard.

He calmed himself down and nodded calmly.

"I’ll go."

Senju sighed in relief.

With that, the meeting ended.

After that, everyone followed Miyu.

Karin glanced at Hangetsu and saw her hair flowing smoothly behind her.

"What do you use for your hair?"

Hangetsu heard a voice from behind and looked at Karin before smiling shyly, realizing it was Katsuya’s older sister.

"I-i don’t... I’m similar to all of you here — body, hair, everything — but... I’m still just an ability."

She said softly.

They arrived at the place.

Senju looked at the house in amazement.

"This is our place?!"

Kishima nodded and said,

"Yeah, you owe me a massage after you almost killed me in a fight."

Senju looked at him confused.

"What?"

Gan laughed at them, remembering how Senju was still under Sarah’s manipulation and almost ended Kishima.

Senju looked at them laughing at him.

"E-eh? What did I do?!"

Kenji shook his head and grabbed the key from his pocket before unlocking the door.

They entered inside, and...

"Wooahhh!! This is the place?!"

Kishima asked loudly, his eyes wide and jaw opened.

Sayaka kicked his back from behind.

"You’re too loud. We can hear you from here."

Katsuya looked around the house and looked back at Karin with a smile.

"We can sell our previous house now."

Karin chuckled and nodded.

After the talk, they started cleaning and arranging their things.

They finished the house just in time before dark.

Matthew picked the solo bed on the second floor. He didn’t want anyone near him.

Senju and Kenji paired in the same room on the first floor, different beds.

Gan and Mel were on the third floor.

Kishima convinced Katsuya to pair with him, because he’d been wanting to talk with Katsuya about the old man the whole time.

Sayaka, Yuki, Miyu, Hangetsu, and Karin paired in the large room fit for five people, also on the third floor, just across Gan’s room.

After getting their own rooms and pairs, they gathered downstairs in the living room.

They gathered around a circular table on the ground before Kenji put down a big bottle of grape wine.

"Let’s celebrate!"

With that, everyone celebrated their reunion.

After the celebration, everyone went back to their rooms to sleep, except Matthew.

He walked outside the house, closed the door, and walked off.

Suddenly...

"You’re going there?"

Matthew stopped at the familiar voice and turned around before realizing it was Karin.

He looked at her for a moment before looking away again with a nod.

Karin smiled and said,

"I’m going there too."

Matthew just nodded again and continued to walk.

Karin already expected this... This was the Matthew both she and Kari knew.

She walked beside him until they arrived at the graveyard.

Both approached Kari’s grave.

Matthew knelt down and sighed softly.

Karin looked down at the grave of Kari and gave a small smile.

"She must be proud of you now..."

Matthew scoffed and shook his head before standing up again.

"How long do you intend to stay here?"

Matthew asked, pulling out a cigarette and lighting it up before smoking.

Karin saw his actions and said,

"Wouldn’t Kari get angry at you?"

Matthew sighed the smoke and shook his head.

"That’s unlikely to happen... This isn’t real. This is fake. She actually taught me how to make a fake one so I wouldn’t be smoking the real one again..."

Karin smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, I remember when she always scolded you all the time because of the cigarettes you always brought to school back then."

Matthew chuckled and nodded.

"Yeah, I missed the pinches."

After talking for a while, they headed back to the place.

As they were walking, they stopped for a moment and saw two familiar figures at a distance. One holding a small square basket, one holding something like a paper bag.

Matthew’s eyes widened.

"Takashi?"

It was Takashi.

Takashi smiled and waved at them. Beside him was... a beautiful, gorgeous lady who looked like a princess and a queen at the same time.

Matthew recognized it.

"Sarah?"

He asked.

Karin also looked at them in shock.

Sarah smiled shyly and waved at them.

Matthew and Karin approached them and stopped in front of them.

"It’s already late at night, don’t you think?"

Takashi asked playfully at them.

Matthew smiled and chuckled lowly.

"I know. We just visited someone."

Sarah held out the basket and said,

"This is... This is for all of you, for last time... I’m sorry..."

Karin smiled and gently took the basket into her hands.

"You don’t need to worry about it."

Takashi laughed softly and handed Matthew the paper bag he was holding.

Matthew accepted it slowly and asked,

"Is there a reason why you’re giving it to us?"

Sarah and Takashi froze for a second and shook their heads with a laugh.

"No, no, no. It’s actually for Katsuya and the beautiful one with him last time when... you know..."

Sarah said in a soft, low voice.

Matthew nodded and said,

"We’ll make sure to give it to those two lovebirds."

Takashi’s eyes widened and asked,

"Are they together?"

Karin sighed and let out a short laugh before saying,

"He’s joking. Katsuya and the beautiful Hangetsu aren’t like that... Yet?"

Sarah laughed and nodded.

After the talk, both pairs left.

Matthew and Karin got back before handing Karin the paper bag.

"Just give it to them tomorrow."

He said before walking upstairs to get to his room.

Karin nodded and put the basket and the paper bag in the cabinet for now before going back to their room after locking the door.

With that, everyone slept the night off.

Takashi and Sarah ended up walking peacefully through the forest outside the city, enjoying the quiet peace.

"I missed this."

Sarah said softly.

Takashi nodded and smiled beside her.

"Me too."

Both of them sat under a tree and enjoyed the view of the sky.
