Chapter 1
"Siya" a man's voice called from behind her. "At the window again I see" he said wrapping his arms around her waste and kissing her cheek before placing his chin on her shoulder.
It was just finally starting to get dark, and the first star had finally made itself visible to her. "Star light, star bright,The first star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, Have the wish I wish tonight" she said simply before closing her eyes for a moment.
"What did you wish for?" He asked as she opened her eyes and turned to him. "You know I cant tell you that" she told him with a smile. As she looked into his deep blue eyes. "You really dont regret moving out here with me?" He asked with heartache in his voice. Siya placed her hand on his cheek gently. "Why would I ever regret being with you?" She asked simply. "I dont know, maybe because there's nothing for you to do" he told her.
"Are you kidding!" She said pushing him slightly. "There is sooooooo much to do like... um..." "staring out the window watching the stars?" He questioned. "Exactly" she replied as they both laughed. "Seth, I have no regrets being with you. You are the love of my life" she told him simply. "I love you to" he replied looking into her green eyes. "Now no more fadodaling, you have to get to work before your late again" she said practically pushing him towards the door. "I know I know" he said grabbing the car keys off the table. "Ill see you in the morning" he told her before leaving the house.
Siya walked back to her window and looked out it once more. Suddenly what appeared to be a shooting star appeared in the sky. "I do wish life was a little more interesting" she said to herself. That was when she noticed the shooting star was getting closer and closer. Whatever it was didn't burn up in the atmosphere like it should have.
Suddenly it crashed into the woods in front of her, not to far from the house. She quickly ran to the front door and grabbed a flashlight before pausing. No. She thought. doing this right now in the dark wasn't a smart decision, it while she was home alone.
And at that point it was decided. She would go as soon as the sun came up.
Morning didn't come in the blink of an eye like it usually did. She didn't sleep that night. She stayed up. Waiting... thinking...
Meteors crash land all the time. It was possible that was just a larger one that didn't burn up upon entry right?
It didn't matter. The sun was finally up and to Siya even if it was just some fancy space rock it was something to see. After all how many people can say they've seen a meteor fresh from space?
Siya stood from the couch, and ran outside. She stayed to the path she new at first but soon realized she would have to go deeper into the woods if she wanted to find it. And so she did.
One step after another she stepped on small branches and leaves, walked across large rocks and logs, and even tripped over a few roots here and there. But finally after about a mile she found it.
But it didn't look like any space rock she had seen in pictures or on tv... it almost looked like... an egg?
She kneeled down and reached her hand out towards it when suddenly it cracked! Siya fell back on her bum startled but the sudden event as she continued to watch the cracks on it grow.
Than something black and seemingly sharpe pierced through it making the top part of the egg crumble. Siyas eyes became wide as she never expected what was coming out of the egg. 2 creatures. One black and one almost blue or green. They had small horns on their heads and wings. They almost resembled birds or lizards? No dinosaurs? No... she realized... They couldn't have been could they?
But they didn't exist... they couldn't... right?
"Your dragons" she spoke aloud as they tilted their small heads at her.
Siya got back onto her knees and reached her hand out to the small blue dragon creature. Much to her surprise the creature rubbed its head against her hand. She held her other hand towards the black one now.
He seemed to little more shy but after sniffing her hand did the same.
She than flipped her hands so they could crawl onto them. And almost as if they read her mind... they crawled out of the egg and into her hands.
Siya stood up. "Its to dangerous out here for you two" she told them. "I cant just leave you out here to be eaten or something worse" she said.
And so she began her journey back to the house. After the mile long walk back to the house she took them inside and straight to her room. "What in the world am I supposed to do with you to?" She asked herself.
Suddenly she heard the door open. "Seth is back" she said quickly putting them in a trunk "sh stay here for a bit ill come up with something" she said before closing the trunk and running to the living room. "Seth! Your back already" she said with a smile. "Um this is always the time I get back" he said confused. "Oh I guess I just lost track of time" she said awkwardly. "Your wearing the same clothes as yesterday" he noticed. "I couldn't sleep" she said simply. Suddenly behind him she noticed the trunk opening. "How was work" she asked as she watched the 2 small creatures climb out and begin to explore. "It was work, im just glad to be home with you" he said as he wrapped his arms around her her. "Same here" she said simply. "Listen there's uh something I have to tell you" she said watching as the 2 dragon crawled onto the counter. "What is it?" He asked with a look of concern. "See uh last night I kinda..."
CRASH
Seth suddenly turned to see a pot on the floor and 2 unusual creatures on his counter. "Siya please tell me your seeing what im seeing" he said frozen. "I found them" she told him simply
